Struga
Struga ( mk, Струга , sq, Strugë) is a town and popular tourist destination situated in the south-western region of North Macedonia, lying on the shore of Lake Ohrid. The town of Struga is the seat of Struga Municipality. Name The name Struga was first mentioned in the 11th century. It is of Slavic origin. and means a "river bed". The ancient name of the city is Enchalon (Εγχαλών), the ancient Greek word for eel, which may be related to the Illyrian Enchele tribe that was known to live in the region. According to E. Hamp, a connection with Albanian ’ngjalë’ makes it possible that the name Enchele was derived from the Illyrian term for eels, which may have been anciently related to Greek and simply adjusted to the Greek pronunciation. Cincar Marko Kostić
Cincar Marko Kostić (1777 in Dolna Belica – 22 Febriaru 1822, in Šabac) was a Serbian aristocrat and diplomat. He served as vojvoda of Soko nahiye and duke of Šabac, and was one of the leaders of the First Serbian Insurrection. Selci, North Macedonia
Selci is a village in Municipality of Struga, North Macedonia. In the 19th century Selci was a Bulgarian village in Debar kaza of the Ottoman Empire. According to the statistics of Vasil Kanchov ("Macedonia. Ethnography and Statistics") in 1900 there were 1,050 Bulgarian inhabitants, all Christians. The entire Christian population of the village is under the rule of Bulgarian Exarchate. Delogoždi ( mk, Делогожди, sq, Dollogozhdë) is a village in the municipality of Struga, North Macedonia. Geography Delogoždi lies south of Mountain Karaorman in an altitude of 800 meters and the east borders with the villages Dzhepin (1.6 km) and Koroshishta (2.3 km), in the south with the villages Livada (2.8 km) and Biceva (3.7 km), to the southwest with the village of Novo Selo (3.1 km), to the west with the village of Dolno Tateshi (2.9 km), and to the north with the village of Poum (2.9 km). Veselin Vuković
Veselin Vuković (; born 19 December 1958) is a Serbian handball coach and former player who competed for Yugoslavia in the 1984 Summer Olympics. Club career Born in Struga (PR Macedonia), Vuković moved with his family to Šabac (PR Serbia) at an early age. Ibrahim Starova, also Ibrahim Bërzeshta (born ''Ibrahim Ethem Sojliu''; 22 March 1865 – 5 August 1945), better known as Ibrahim Temo, was an Ottoman-Albanian politician, revolutionary, intellectual, and a medical doctor by profession.
