Godspower Ake
Godspower Umejuru Ake , (2 February 1940 – 8 August 2016) was a politician in Rivers State, Nigeria. He was a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly and a Deputy Speaker. from 1979 to 1983, representing the constituency of Ahoada I for the National Party of Nigeria. He was the Special Adviser on Lands and Housing to Governor of Rivers State, Governor Peter Odili, a position he held from 1999 until 2007, and even combined this role with the position of the National Vice Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (Nigeria), People's Democratic Party from 2004 to 2007. He became the third Chairman of the Rivers State People's Democratic Party in 2008 and served until 2013 when the Rivers State High Court of Justice, High Court ordered him removed from office. Judith Amaechi
Dame Judith Obiajulu Amaechi (née Nwankwo; born 24 December 1970) is the wife of former Rivers State Governor Chibuike Amaechi. She is head of the Empowerment Support Initiative (ESI) which campaigns against HIV/AIDS, advocates the rights of the women and children, and promotes gender equity and Girl Child education. Amaechi was born on 24 December 1970 in Enugu Ukwu, Anambra State. She attended Federal Government Girls' College, Abuloma for her secondary education. She then attended Rivers State University of Science and Technology, where she graduated as an Urban and Regional Planning Professional. She married Chibuike Amaechi and they have three children. Governor Of Rivers State
The Governor of Rivers State is the chief executive of the Rivers State government and is one of the governors of the thirty-six states of Nigeria. The governor is supported by the Deputy Governor, both popularly elected for a term of four years (maximum of two terms). The governor, as head of the executive branch, has the power to appoint commissioners responsible for each of the state's ministries, the heads of parastatals, judicial officers and the state-owned bodies with specific regulatory or administrative duties. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi (born 27 May 1965) is a Nigerian politician, he served as the Federal Minister of Transportation of Nigeria from 2015 to 2022 under the cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari. Elechi Amadi (12 May 1934 – 29 June 2016) was a Nigerian author and soldier. He was a former member of the Nigerian Armed Forces. He was an author of plays and novels that are generally about African village life, customs, beliefs, and religious practices prior to contact with the Western world. Daniel Otelemaba Amachree (born 14 November 1963) is a progressive politician in Rivers State, Nigeria. He is a former Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly. He was elected as the Speaker of the House on 31 May 2011, during the first meeting of the 7th Assembly. Between 1999 and 2015, Amachree has been elected to four terms as a member of the House of Assembly, representing the Asari-Toru 1 constituency. Diezani K. Alison-Madueke (born 6 December 1960) is a Nigerian politician and the first female President of OPEC. She was elected at the 166th OPEC Ordinary meeting in Vienna on 27 November 2014.
