Bowe Bergdahl
Beaudry Robert "Bowe" Bergdahl (born March 28, 1986) is a United States Army soldier who was held captive from 2009 to 2014 by the Taliban-aligned Haqqani network in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Bergdahl was captured after deserting his post on June 30, 2009. The circumstances under which Bergdahl went missing and how he was captured by the Taliban have since become subjects of intense media scrutiny. Whitney, Idaho
Whitney is a small unincorporated community in the Cache Valley of Franklin County, Idaho, United States. It is part of the Logan, Utah-Idaho Metropolitan Statistical Area. Close to the border with Utah, Whitney lies on U.S. 91 between Preston and Franklin, and is associated to the postal code of Preston (83263). The place was named after Orson F. Whitney, an Apostle of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. At the time of the city's formation Whitney was a long time bishop in a Salt Lake City ward. The community is almost entirely composed of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Ezra Taft Benson
Ezra Taft Benson (August 4, 1899 – May 30, 1994) was an American farmer, government official, and religious leader who served as the 15th United States Secretary of Agriculture during both presidential terms of Dwight D. Eisenhower and as the 13th president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) from 1985 until his death in 1994. Terrel Howard Bell (November 11, 1921June 22, 1996) was the Secretary of Education in the Cabinet of President Ronald Reagan. He was the second Secretary of Education, following Shirley Hufstedler. Early life and career Bell was born in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, on November 11, 1921; at age eight, his father died. Bell graduated from Lava Hot Springs High School and the Albion State Normal School in 1946. After this he served as a school superintendent of various schools in Idaho and Wyoming.
