Musiikkituottajat – IFPI Finland, the association of Finnish music industry, publishes currently three separate singles charts: the Official Finnish Singles Chart (''Suomen virallinen singlelista'') which takes into account both physical singles and digital tracks (singles, promotional singles and non-singles), the Official Finnish Download Chart (''Suomen virallinen latauslista''), which since February 2007 has listed tracks accordingly to their digital sales, and the Official Finnish Airplay Chart, which since 24 November 2013 has listed tracks accordingly to their airplay. Children Of Bodom (song)
Children of Bodom was a Finnish melodic death metal band from Espoo. Formed in 1993 as Inearthed, the final line-up of the group upon their split in 2019 consisted of frontman Alexi Laiho, drummer Jaska Raatikainen, bassist Henkka Seppälä, keyboardist Janne Wirman and rhythm guitarist Daniel Freyberg. The band released ten studio albums, three live albums, two EPs, two compilation albums and one DVD. The band's third studio album, '' Follow the Reaper'', was their first album to receive a gold certification in Finland, and subsequent studio albums acquired the same status. Their next four albums each debuted at number one on the Finnish album charts, and have also seen chart positions on the United States ''Billboard'' 200. Nightwish
Nightwish is a Finnish symphonic metal band from Kitee. The band was formed in 1996 by lead songwriter and keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen, guitarist Emppu Vuorinen, and former lead singer Tarja Turunen. The band soon picked up drummer Jukka Nevalainen, and then bassist Sami Vänskä after the release of their debut album, ''Angels Fall First'' (1997). In 2001, Vänskä was replaced by Marko Hietala, who also took over the male vocalist role previously filled by Holopainen or guest singers. Although Nightwish have been prominent in their home country since ''Angels Fall First'', they did not achieve wider success until the release of the albums '' Oceanborn'' (1998), '' Wishmaster'' (2000) and ''Century Child'' (2002). Bo Martin Erik Erikson (born 27 August 1965), better known by his stage name E-Type, is a Swedish eurodance musician, songwriter and record producer. His professional name is based on the Jaguar E-Type sports car. Biography Early years Erikson was born in Uppsala. His father is Bo ("Bosse") G. Erikson (b. 1933), known as the host of the science TV-show ''Vetenskapens Värld'' (World of Science) on Sveriges Television, SVT. His mother's name was Elisabeth and he has one sibling, a sister Erika. His mother died of cancer in 1987. In his teens, E-Type and his family moved to Bromma, a borough in the western part of Stockholm, and he is currently living in the heart of Stockholm. He started his musical career in the 1980s as a drummer in the speed metal bands Maninnya Blade and Hexenhaus. It was released in November 1998 as the second single from his third album, '' Last Man Standing'' and was a hit in several countries, particularly in Sweden and Finland where it reached number-one. Tehosekoitin
Tehosekoitin was a Finnish rock band formed in 1991. The band made music with traditional rock 'n roll attitude. Besides pure rock 'n roll, they also made some songs which were more like jazz, blues or tender ballads than actual rock. Tehosekoitin was really popular in Finland. After a successful decade in Finland the band toured under the new name Screamin' Stukas in Britain and Europe. They translated all their lyrics into English. The tour wasn't very successful. Tehosekoitin released their first three singles "Greatest Hits II", "...ja valtakunnassa kaikki hyvin!!!?" (....and everything's well in the kingdom!!!?) and "T.S. <3 A.L" (Tehosekoitin loves Apulanta) in vinyl, playing Finnish-style punk.
