Lola Beltrán
María Lucila Beltrán Ruiz (7 March 1932 – 24 March 1996), known professionally as Lola Beltrán, was a Mexican actress and singer. Beltrán is and was one of Mexico's most acclaimed singers of Ranchera and Huapango music. She made the famous song "Priscila elque se fue" collaborations with other acclaimed Mexican music stars such as Amalia Mendoza, Juan Gabriel and Lucha Villa. She was internationally renowned for her interpretation of the songs "Cucurrucucú paloma" and " Paloma Negra" as well as sang before many world leaders. Mexican Cumbia
Mexican cumbia is a type of cumbia, a music which originated in Colombia but was reinvented and adapted in Mexico. Origins The cumbia started in Colombia in the 1800s. In the 1940s Colombian singer Luis Carlos Meyer Castandet emigrated to Mexico where he worked with the Mexican orchestra director Rafael de Paz. In the 1950s he recorded what many believe to be the first cumbia recorded outside of Colombia, "La Cumbia Cienaguera". He recorded other hits like "La historia". This is when Cumbia began to be popularized in Mexico. In the 1970s Aniceto Molina also emigrated to Mexico, where he joined the group from Guerrero, La Luz Roja de San Marcos, and recorded many popular tropical cumbias like "El Gallo Mojado", "El Peluquero", and "La Mariscada". 3Ball MTY
3BallMTY (pronounced "Tribal Monterrey") is a Mexican pop DJ group from the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. The "DJ Collective" (the name its members have formally given themselves) was formed in 2009 by two teenage DJs – Sergio Zavala (DJ Sheeqo Beat), and Alberto Presenda (DJ Otto). The name "3Ball" comes from the Spanish word "tribal", which refers to the culture of Guaracha tribal music popular in many Spanish-speaking countries around the world. Trival
Tribal guarachero, also known as trival, is a music genre that fuses electronic dance music with cumbia or certain rhythms from regional Mexican music genres. Tribal guarachero is sometimes referred to as "3ball". Despite the similarity between the letter "b" and "v" in Spanish, it should not be confused with tribal house or tecnocumbia music. History The style originated from the lower and middle-class neighborhoods of Mexico City in 2000 and 2001. It then moved to Monterrey, Nuevo León in 2007, before expanding to the United States in 2008. The genre's popularity peaked in Mexico and in parts of the United States with large Mexican and Mexican-American populations in the early 2010s. Mexican Guaracha
The guaracha () is a genre of music that originated in Cuba, of rapid tempo and comic or picaresque lyrics. The word had been used in this sense at least since the late 18th and early 19th century. Guarachas were played and sung in musical theatres and in low-class dance salons. They became an integral part of bufo comic theatre in the mid-19th century. During the later 19th and the early 20th century the guaracha was a favourite musical form in the brothels of Havana. The guaracha survives today in the repertoires of some trova musicians, conjuntos and Cuban-style big bands. Leticia Jannet López Ramos, known professionally as Lety López (and formerly Leticia López), is a Mexican actress and singer. She was awarded with the Bravo, APT and ACPT awards for Best New Female Actress in a Musical in 2012 for her work in ''Si Nos Dejan – El Gran Musical Mexicano''. Luz Elena Ruiz Bejarano (born November 30, 1936), more commonly known by her stage name Lucha Villa, is a Mexican singer and actress. Early life Born in Camargo, Chihuahua, Luz Elena Ruiz Bejarano was given her pseudonym "Lucha Villa" by television producer Luis G. Dillon ("Lucha" being a hypocorism for Luz Elena, and "Villa" in honor of Pancho Villa). She has been a constant presence in popular music and film since the early 1960s. María Blanca Estela Pavón Vasconcelos (February 21, 1926 – September 26, 1949) was a Mexican film actress and singer of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. She appeared in many classic films of the 1940s as a young woman. Her career peaked between 1948 and 1949. On September 26, 1949, she died in a plane crash near the Popocatépetl volcano located between Mexico City and Puebla. Irma Consuelo Cielo Serrano Castro (; born 9 December 1933) is a Mexican singer, actress and politician.
