Thai Human Imagery Museum
The Thai Human Imagery Museum ( th, พิพิธภัณฑ์หุ่นขี้ผึ้งไทย) is a wax museum located in Nakhon Pathom Province, Thailand. Due to the tropical climate of Thailand the figures are made of fibreglass instead of the traditional wax. History The museum was opened on 14 June 1989. Thai Human Imagery Museum created by inspired Artist Duangkaew Phityakornsilp and his colleagues with an aim to promote and to preserve traditional Thai arts and culture. These artists spent over 10 years studying and experimenting on wax sculpture using fibre glass before succeeding in creating beautiful, exquisite, and durable ones. Exhibitions Exhibits include Thai historical figures, including kings of the Chakri Dynasty, displays of Thai culture and traditions, and famous fictional characters, including those from Sunthorn Phu's epic poem, Phra Aphai Mani. Southeast Asian Ceramics Museum
The Southeast Asian Ceramics Museum ( th, พิพิธภัณฑสถานเครื่องถ้วยเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้, links=no) is a history museum in Bangkok University, Pathum Thani, Thailand, displaying Southeast Asian ceramics. The museum opened to the public on 11 May 2005. Princess Maha Chaki Sirindhorn presided over the official inauguration of the museum on 20 November 2009. It exhibits ancient ceramic production in Thailand and other Asian ceramics. This includes around 500 ceramic pieces selected from a permanent collection of about 15,000 objects. The core of the collection was donated by Surat Osathanugrah, who also founded Bangkok University. While many of the ceramics in the collection originate from other countries, most were collected in Thailand. Chonburi Province
Chonburi (, , ) is a province of Thailand (''changwat'') located in eastern Thailand. Its capital is also named Chonburi. Neighbouring provinces are (clockwise from north) Chachoengsao, Chanthaburi, and Rayong, while the Bay of Bangkok is to the west. Pattaya, a major tourism destination in Thailand, is located in Chonburi, along with Laem Chabang, the country's primary seaport. Rare Stone Museum ( th, พิพิธภัณฑ์หินแปลก) is a museum at 29/2 Moo 1 Rangsit, Pathum Thani Road in Pathum Thani Province, north of Bangkok. It was previously at 1048–1054 Thanon Charoen Krun in Bang Rak District in Bangkok before it moved in 2008. The museum is privately owned by former businessman Khun Yanyong Lertnimit, a tailor of garments, and includes an extensive collection of items he has collected over the decades. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Natural History Museum
The Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Natural History Museum is a natural history museum in the Prince of Songkla University in southern Thailand. It was originally known as the Natural History Museum of Prince of Songkla University (PSU Museum). After a renovation, it was renamed and re-opened on 14 January 2008 by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The museum's main building is located in the most west part of the Faculty of Science. The building contains both exhibition and collection areas. The PSU Museum is a university's funded unit, having equal status to a faculty. However, it is still under inspection and assistance of the Faculty of Science. The museum works closely to the Department of Biology and the Excellent Centre of Biodiversity of Peninsular Thailand (CBIPT) as all three institutes are working on biodiversity research and conservation. It is under the administration of the Department of Mineral Resources, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, of the Royal Thai Government, and situated in the Khok Sanambin public area in Tambon Nai Muang, Wiang Kao district, Khon Kaen province in the northeastern region of Thailand.
