Angkor Borei Museum
The Angkor Borei Museum (Khmer language, Khmer: សារមន្ទីរស្រុកអង្គរបុរី) is a museum located in Angkor Borei District, Angkor Borei, Cambodia. The museum is dedicated to preserving historical artifacts of Cambodian civilization. History The museum is located in a wat. The museum was funded with the help of the European Union, one of the objectives for the creation of the museum was to preserve the archaeological artifacts found in Cambodia. Also one of the intentions for the creation of the museum was to promote tourism in Takéo Province. Silver Pagoda
The Silver Pagoda is located on the south side of the Royal Palace in Chey Chumneas, Phnom Penh. The official name is Wat Ubaosoth Ratanaram ( km, វត្តឧបោសថរតនារាម), also known as Wat Preah Keo Morakot (Khmer: វត្តព្រះកែវមរកត, "Temple of the Emerald-Crystal Buddha") which is commonly shortened to Wat Preah Keo (Khmer: វត្តព្រះកែវ) in Khmer. The Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum ( km, សារមន្ទីរឧក្រិដ្ឋកម្មប្រល័យពូជសាសន៍ទួលស្លែង) or simply Tuol Sleng ( km, ទួលស្លែង, link=no, ; lit. "Hill of the Poisonous Trees" or "Strychnine Hill") is a museum chronicling the Cambodian genocide. Located in Phnom Penh, the site is a former secondary school which was used as Security Prison 21 (S-21; km, មន្ទីរស-២១, link=no) by the Khmer Rouge regime from 1975 until its fall in 1979. From 1976 to 1979, an estimated 20,000 people were imprisoned at Tuol Sleng and it was one of between 150 and 196 torture and execution centers established by the Khmer Rouge.
