Sophie Hæstorp Andersen
Sophie Hæstorp Andersen (born 26 September 1974) is a Danish politician. She is the Lord Mayor of Copenhagen Municipality as of 1 January 2022. She was the regional council chairperson of the Capital Region of Denmark, Capital Region from 1 January 2014 until 31 July 2021. Before that, she sat in the Folketing. Andersen is the daughter of Svend Hæstorp and costume designer Pia Else Andersen. She is married to Troels Andersen and they have two children, Rosa and Rolf.. Accessed on 2019-06-29. Lars Engberg
Lars Engberg (27 January 1943 – 17 February 2017) was a Danish politician for the Social Democratic Party. He was a member of the council for Region Hovedstaden and acting Lord Mayor of Copenhagen. Lars Engberg was a member of the City Council of Copenhagen from 1982 to 2005. 2001 Danish Local Elections
The Danish local elections of 2001 were held on 20 November 2001. 4647 municipal council members were elected to 275 municipal councils, as well as members of 14 counties (Danish, ''Amtskommune'' , literally ''County Municipality'') of Denmark. There were 14 counties and 275 municipalities, but the county of Bornholm was merged with its 5 constituent municipalities 1 January 2003 to form ''Bornholm Regional Municipality''. The voters of Bornholm voted in these elections in the soon to be dissolved municipalities and county, but later elected the councillors in a local election 29 May 2002 to lead the newly formed municipality from January 2003. The county and county council of Bornholm just continued its work until 2002 while the new ''Bornholm Regional Municipality'' was being built from the 6 old entities. Jens Kramer Mikkelsen
Jens Kramer Mikkelsen (born 16 December 1951) was the Lord Mayor of Copenhagen for the Social Democratic Party from 1989 to 2004 and he is the longest-serving mayor in the City of Copenhagen. In 2004, Kramer became the CEO of the ''Ørestad Development Corporation'' (Ørestadsselskabet I/S) and the company merged with ''Copenhagen Harbor'' in 2007 where Kramer was appointed CEO of CPH City & Port where he served until 2018. Currently, Kramer is Director of Urban Development at ''Nordic Real Estate Partners'' (NREP) and he holds a number of board positions in various companies and NGOs.
