Naseem Rafeeq Young , known professionally as 2Rare, is an American rapper and songwriter from Philadelphia. He has been signed to American record executive Mel Carter since October 2022. Early life 2Rare was a football player during his high school years. He believed the sport would be "his lane". Originally from Philadelphia, he temporarily moved to Los Angeles due to academic issues and altercations. Later, he eventually returned to Philadelphia where he discovered that his prolonged absence had barred him from returning to class. This led to his separation from football. Mark Howard James (born October 16, 1961) professionally known as The 45 King (also known as DJ Mark the 45 King), is an American hip hop record producer and disc jockey (DJ) from The Bronx borough of New York City. James began DJing in The Bronx, in the mid-1980s. His pseudonym, the 45 King, came from his ability to make beats using obscure 45 RPM records. Career The 45 King first gained fame with his breakbeat track "The 900 Number" in 1987. The song featured a looping of a baritone sax solo from Marva Whitney's "Unwind Yourself" (1968). Selwyn Bougard, now known as El-Divine Amir Bey (born May 23, 1974), better known by his stage name 4th Disciple, is a record producer and audio engineer who was one of the founding members of Killarmy and one of the best-known Wu-Tang-affiliated producers.
