The A38 is a major arterial route in Sydney, Australia, connecting M2 Hills Motorway in to the Pittwater Road (A8) in . The name "A38" is just the route allocation. Highway 38 is an arterial road in the low plains of Judea in Israel. It serves as the main access route to Beit Shemesh and as a main north–south route in the region. Along the route are many nature preserves and archeological sites. Route Highway 38 travels in a north-northeast direction as it winds through the western foothills of the Judaean Mountains from Highway 35 at Nehusha Junction near Beit Guvrin to Highway 1 at Sha'ar HaGai Interchange. Along many stretches, it follows small valleys formed by northward turns of westward streams emanating from the mountains to the east, notably, the Yoresh, Hakhlil, Yarmut and Kisalon Streams. U.S. Route 6 (US 6), also called the Grand Army of the Republic Highway, honoring the American Civil War veterans association, is a main route of the U.S. Highway system. While it currently runs east-northeast from Bishop, California, to Provincetown, Massachusetts, the route has been modified several times. The highway's longest-lasting routing, from 1936 to 1964, had its western terminus at Long Beach, California. During this time, US 6 was the longest highway in the country. In 1964, the state of California renumbered its highways, and most of the route within California was transferred to other highways. This dropped the highway's length below that of US 20, making it the second-longest U.S. Highway in the country. New Zealand State Highway 38
State Highway 38 (SH 38) is a road in the North Island of New Zealand that starts from near Waiotapu, and ends at Wairoa, where it connects to . It is the shortest connection from the central North Island ( Rotorua) to the East Coast ( Gisborne), but it is not often used as such. Large parts of the road are narrow and winding, and about of the road is unsealed. Travel on this highway takes roughly four hours. Part of this unsealed section (between Te Whaiti and Aniwaniwa) is not designated a state highway and instead holds the names Ruatahuna Road and Waikaremoana Road. The administration of this middle section of highway is split between Whakatane District and Wairoa District Councils. The Johor Bahru Eastern Dispersal Link Expressway is a controlled-access highway entirely within Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. The expressway connects the end of the North–South Expressway Southern Route at Pandan to the Johor–Singapore Causeway in the city centre. The expressway was constructed to allow cross-border traffic to bypass the city centre and reduce congestion along Tebrau Highway, the existing main route to the causeway. The construction costs of the expressway is RM 1 billion. In August 2012, the Malaysian government decided that it will acquire the expressway from Malaysia Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB).
