A haunted attraction is a form of live entertainment that simulates the experience of visiting haunted locations or storylines typical of horror fiction. They usually feature fearsome sets and characters, especially demons, ghosts, monsters, possessed people, witches or wizards, serial killers, and slashers. Humorous characters may also be included. Haunted attractions may be set up at many kinds of locations. Built attractions or existing structures in which attractions may be operated include temporarily constructed simulations of haunted houses; actual abandoned or dilapidated houses; abandoned asylums; defunct prisons; defunct or active amusement parks; defunct or active ships; defunct factories; defunct or active barns; and shopping malls. Mystic Point
Mystic Point () is a section of Hong Kong Disneyland that officially opened to the public on 17 May 2013. Prior to that it had a soft opening for a selected audience. It is set in a dense, uncharted rain forest surrounded by mysterious forces and supernatural events. The site features Mystic Manor, a Haunted Mansion style attraction with the same trackless ride system developed at Pooh's Hunny Hunt in Tokyo Disneyland. Mystic Point, along with Frontierland#Hong Kong Disneyland, Grizzly Gulch has been exclusive to Hong Kong Disneyland among all Disney theme parks since opening. Composer Danny Elfman scored the music for the Mystic Manor dark ride attraction. It is the final land to open in Hong Kong Disneyland's three land expansion plan approved in July 2009. Ripley's Haunted Adventure are attractions owned by Ripley Entertainment, known for its ''Ripley's Believe It or Not!'' franchise and located along commercial strips and mostly in resort cities. The London Bridge Experience
The London Bridge Experience is a tourist attraction in Southwark, London, England, on the south bank of the River Thames. Guests are led by actors on a tour through moments in London's history, including Boudicca's battles with the Romans, and The Great Fire of London. Production Courtyard is a themed ''land'' at Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Resort Paris.
