Comic Book
A comic book, also called comicbook, comic magazine or (in the United Kingdom and Ireland) simply comic, is a publication that consists of comics art in the form of sequential juxtaposed panels that represent individual scenes. Panels are often accompanied by descriptive prose and written narrative, usually, dialogue contained in word balloons emblematic of the comics art form. " Comic Cuts" was a British comic published from 1890 to 1953. It was preceded by " Ally Sloper's Half Holiday" (1884) which is notable for its use of sequential cartoons to unfold narrative. These British comics existed alongside of the popular lurid "Penny dreadfuls" (such as " Spring-heeled Jack"), boys' " Story papers" and the humorous Punch (magazine) which was the first to use the term "cartoon" in its modern sense of a humorous drawing. Cutey Bunny is a cartoon animal superheroine created by Joshua Quagmire for a humorous line of American underground comic books that first appeared through ''Army Surplus Komikz'', which ran sporadically for five issues from 1982 to 1985. She has since appeared through various other comic titles such as '' Critters'' from Fantagraphics Books and one-shots such as ''Cutey Bunny's Pearl Harbor Beach Party'' from Rip Off Press. As her name suggests, Cutey Bunny's powers and concept are a pastiche of Go Nagai's manga creation, Cutey Honey. Plot Cutey Bunny (sometimes labeled "QT Bunny" for short) is secretly Cpl. ''XDragoon'' is a series created by in 2008 by Brazilian artist Felipe Marcantonio. It is based on Japanese comics style, featuring the adventures of an alien race of dragons fighting enemies that threaten Earth. ''Kevin and Kell'' is a furry comedy webcomic strip by syndicated cartoonist Bill Holbrook. The strip began on September 3, 1995, and is one of the oldest continuously running webcomics. The comic's website states it is "The World's Longest Running Daily Webcomic". The strip centers on the mixed marriage between Kevin Dewclaw, a rabbit, and Kell Dewclaw, a grey wolf. ''Super Dinosaur'' is an American comic book series published by Image Comics' Skybound imprint beginning in 2011. The comic was created by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Jason Howard, who had previously worked together on Image's ''The Astounding Wolf-Man''. Publication history The idea for ''Super Dinosaur'' originated approximately two years prior to the series debut. Jason Howard drew a picture of a Tyrannosaurus with a cape for his then-five-year-old son.
