National Women's Soccer League
The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) is a professional women's soccer league at the top of the United States league system. It is owned by the teams and, until 2020, was under a management contract with the United States Soccer Federation. The NWSL was established in 2012 as the successor to Women's Professional Soccer (WPS; 2007–2012), which was itself the successor to Women's United Soccer Association (2001–2003). Reign FC
OL Reign is an American professional women's soccer team based in Seattle, Washington. Founded by Bill and Teresa Predmore in 2012 as Seattle Reign FC, it was one of eight inaugural members of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). In 2020, OL Groupe, the parent company of French clubs Olympique Lyonnais and Olympique Lyonnais Féminin, became the team's majority owner and rebranded to its current name, badge, and colors. Utah Royals FC was an American women's professional soccer club based in the Salt Lake City suburb of Sandy, Utah. FC Kansas City was an American professional women's soccer club based in Kansas City, Missouri. Katrina-Lee Gorry (born 13 August 1992) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Brisbane Roar in the A-League and for the Australia national team. The Chicago Red Stars are a professional women's soccer club based in Bridgeview, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. A founding member of the Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) league, they have played in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) since 2013. Chelsie Dawber (born 12 January 2000) is an Australian professional women's football player. She plays for Norrköping in the Damallsvenskan on loan from Chicago Red Stars in the National Women's Soccer League. Adelaide United’s all time leading goal scorer.
