Chinese Football League
The Chinese football league system or Chinese football league pyramid, refers to the hierarchically interconnected league system for the Chinese Football Association (CFA) that currently consists of 8 tiers with 29 individual leagues, in a series of partially interconnected leagues that are bound together by the principle of promotion and relegation. A significant feature is that there is not only leagues in the system, but also some cup competitions participate, which allows clubs in the system to make multiple promotions in one season. Only the regular leagues are listed below. Beijing Guoan Football Club () is a professional football club that currently participates in the Chinese Super League under licence from the Chinese Football Association (CFA). The team is based in the Chaoyang District in Beijing and their home stadium is the Workers' Stadium with a seating capacity of 66,161. In early 2021, the shareholders changed from the real estate company Sinobo Group (64%) and CITIC Limited (36%) of CITIC Group to solely Sinobo Group (100%). The club is one of the four teams to have never been relegated from the league since its debut in 2004. Guangzhou Evergrande
Guangzhou Football Club, formerly known as Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao Football Club, is a professional Chinese football club that participates in the Chinese Super League under the license of the Chinese Football Association. The team is based in Guangzhou, Guangdong, and their home stadium is the Tianhe Stadium which has a seating capacity of 54,856. Their majority shareholders are the Evergrande Real Estate Group (56.71%) and the e-commerce company Alibaba Group (37.81%), while the rest of the shares are traded in the Chinese OTC system. The club was founded in 1954, and won several second tier titles before turning professional in 1993. Their results improved, leading to a runners-up spot in China's top tier. Ricardo Goulart
Ricardo Goulart Pereira, known as Ricardo Goulart (; born 5 June 1991), is a professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Bahia. Goulart started his career with Santo André in 2009, and remained at the club until 2011, with a loan to Internacional. He played the 2012 season Goiás in the second tier, before joining Cruzeiro the following year. At Cruzeiro, Goulart cemented a place in the first team, and during his two-year stint, he made a total of 99 appearances and scored 34 times, winning the 2014 Brasileiro with the club. Beijing Chengfeng Football Club () was a professional Chinese football club that last participated in the Chinese League One under licence from the Chinese Football Association (CFA). The team was based in Fengtai District, Beijing and their home stadium was the Beijing Fengtai Stadium that has a seating capacity of 31,043. Their last majority shareholder was Chinese property developers of shopping centers Renhe Commercial Holdings Company Limited. The club was founded in Pudong District, Shanghai on 3 February 1995 and were originally known as Shanghai Pudong before they made their debut in the third tier of China's football league pyramid in the 1995 season. They would work their way up to the top tier while changing name to accommodate their sponsors. Wang Peng (Chinese:王鹏; born June 16, 1978 in Dalian) is a former Chinese international footballer who played as a striker. In his playing career he represented Dalian Wanda where he won six Chinese league titles with them before having short spells with Sichuan First City and Shaanxi Baorong Chanba. Club career Dalian Shide Wang Peng started his professional career with Dalian Wanda in the 1996 season making 3 appearances and scoring 1 goal. The following season was to prove extremely successful for Wang Peng as he won the league title with Dalian, playing a significant role by making 22 appearances and scoring 7 goals. Sichuan Football Club (Simplified Chinese: 四川足球俱乐部) was a professional Chinese football club under licence from the Chinese Football Association (CFA). The team is based in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. History After Chinese Super League's team Sichuan First City disbanded, the sports department of Sichuan province decided to establish a new club. The new club, Sichuan F.C., was founded in February, 2006. After two seasons playing in China League Two, they finished up as runners-up and gained promotion to China League One. However, they relegated back after finishing at the bottom of the table in 2009 China League One. They played their last season in 2012 China League Two, and has remained inactive since then. Li Bing (; ; born 16 March 1969 in Guizhou) is a retired Chinese international football player and currently a manager. In his playing career he represented Liaoning, Guangdong Hongyuan, Sichuan Quanxing and a short loan period with German side Kickers Offenbach. Internationally Li represented China within the 1992 and 1996 AFC Asian Cup before he retired and moved into coaching where he received his first head coach position with Chengdu Blades. Yu Genwei (Chinese: 于根伟) (born 7 January 1974) is a former Chinese international footballer who played his entire career for Tianjin Teda as an attacking midfielder or striker. Internationally he represented the Chinese football team where he was a participant at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Club career Beginning his football career for Tianjin Teda (then known as Tianjin FC) in the 1994 league season where he quickly established himself as an attacking midfielder when he scored 10 league goals and helped Tianjin win promotion to the top tier.
