An electrician is a tradesperson specializing in electrical wiring of buildings, transmission lines, stationary machines, and related equipment. Electricians may be employed in the installation of new electrical components or the maintenance and repair of existing electrical infrastructure. Alfred Ngaro
Alfred Ngaro (born 1966) is a New Zealand politician. He was a member of the New Zealand House of Representatives from 2011 to 2020. He is a member of the National Party and the first Cook Islander who was elected to Parliament in New Zealand. Early life Ngaro was raised in Te Atatū and attended the local schools of Edmonton Primary, Rangeview Intermediate and Henderson High School. Yeruham Zeisel
Yeruham Zeisel (1909 – May 26, 1987) was the mayor of Haifa from 1975 to 1978. Yeruham Zeisel was born in 1909 in Tarnov, Galicia, (then Austria-Hungary, today Poland). Zeisel was raised in a Zionist home, and already in his youth was a member of Hashomer Hatzair and a counselor for a group of youths in the "Pioneer" movement. In 1932 he made Aliyah and joined kibbutz Ein HaMifratz. He also worked as a porter in the Post of Haifa, and worked in the digging of fish pools in the area of the swamps of the Ne'eman Valley. In 1933, Zeisel moved to Haifa, and began work as an electrician for the Israel Electric Corporation. Zeisel was a member of the Haganah, and served as the metalworkers secretary. In 1936, he moved to Kiryat Chaim. Zeisel was elected to the Haifa city council in 1961, and eight years later, in 1969, he was elected to the position of vice-mayor. Moshe Flimann
Moshe Flimann ( he, משה פלימן; 1905–1973) served as the mayor of Haifa from 1969 to 1973. Flimann was born in 1905 in Ivano-Frankivsk (Stanyslaviv), in Austrian Galicia (present-day Ukraine). He was a member of a Zionist youth movement, and joined the "Pioneer" movement. He was imprisoned by the Russian authorities because of his Zionist activities, but was released a short time after his arrest. After completing high school, he went to Moscow to study electrical engineering. In 1929 he was imprisoned because of his continued participation in Zionist organizations, and was sent to Siberia to serve a three-year sentence. However, in 1930, his sentence was shortened; he was banished from the U.S.S.R. and then emigrated to Palestine. Haim Corfu
Haim Corfu ( he, חיים קורפו; 6 January 1921 – 23 February 2015) was an Israeli politician, and earlier Irgun member and assassin. Biography Corfu was born in Jerusalem in 1921. He studied in religious schools and yeshivas and attended a religious teachers seminary. In 1937 he joined the Irgun and was a member of the Irgun command in Jerusalem. During that time he also played as a striker for Beitar Jerusalem. He used his training as an electrician to design explosives. He was responsible for the assassinations of CID officers Ralph Cairns and Ronald Barker. Corfu, observing the two while hiding behind a stonemason's shack, pressed the detonator of the remotely-controlled mine that killed them. Dror Adani ( he, דרור עדני) was convicted with Yigal Amir and Hagai Amir in conspiring to murder Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. He was also convicted for conspiring to attack Arabs, illegal weapon production, and illegal weapon possession. At the time, Dror Adani studied at a yeshiva in the Israeli West Bank settlement Beit Hagai. Conor Cusack
Conor Cusack (born 16 January 1979) is an Irish sportsperson. He played hurling with the Cork senior inter-county team in 2006. Known nationally in Ireland for his mental health advocacy, Cusack continues to play hurling with his local Cloyne club. Conor is a former Cork Hurler and a Cork Legend.
