List Of Djed Of The Bosnian Church
This is a list of djed of the Bosnian Church, and it is a part of Batalo's Gospel manuscript, often called ''Red gospodina Rastudija'' (). The title ''djed'' (literally "grandfather") was used of the head of the indigenous Bosnian Church from the late 13th century into the 15th. List of djed The first twelve names on the list are found in a single column in a Gospel book made for the Bosnian nobleman Batalo in 1393. They are listed in reverse order, with the name of the incumbent djed Rastudije first followed by his predecessors back to Ratko in the late 13th century. The list does not have dates for their reigns, but a few of them are known from other acts. If the list was complete at the time it was written down, then Ratko was either the first to use the title djed or represents a break in the history of the Bosnian church. J. V. A. The Bosnian Church ( sh-Latn-Cyrl, separator=/, Crkva bosanska, Црква Босанска) was a Christian church in medieval Bosnia and Herzegovina that was independent of and considered heretical by both the Catholic and the Eastern Orthodox hierarchies. Historians traditionally connected the church with the Bogomils, although this has been challenged and is now rejected by the majority of scholars. Adherents of the church called themselves simply ''Krstjani'' ("Christians") or ''Dobri Bošnjani, Usorani, Humljani...'' ("Good Bosnians, Usorans, Humlians..."). Ban Kulin
Kulin ( sh-Cyrl, Кулин; d. November 1204) was the Banate of Bosnia, Ban of Bosnia from 1180 to 1204, first as a vassal of the Byzantine Empire and then of the Kingdom of Hungary, although his state was de facto independent. He was one of Bosnia's most prominent and notable historic rulers and had a great effect on the development of early Bosnian history. One of his most noteworthy diplomatic achievements is widely considered to have been the signing of the Charter of Ban Kulin, which encouraged trade and established peaceful relations between Dubrovnik and his realm of Bosnia. His son, Stephen Kulinić succeeded him as Bosnian Ban. Kulin founded the House of Kulinić.
