A television show – or simply TV show – is any content produced for viewing on a television set which can be broadcast via over-the-air, satellite television, satellite, or cable television, cable, excluding breaking news, television advertisement, advertisements, or Trailer (promotion), trailers that are typically placed between shows. Television shows are most often broadcast programming, scheduled for broadcast well ahead of time and appear on electronic program guide, electronic guides or other TV listings, but streaming services often make them available for viewing anytime. The content in a television show can be produced with different methodologies such as taped variety shows emanating from a television studio stage, animation or a variety of film productions ranging from movies to series. ThunderCats Roar
''ThunderCats Roar'' is an American animated television series developed by Victor Courtright and Marly Halpern-Graser for Cartoon Network. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, it premiered on February 22, 2020. It is the third television series in the '' ThunderCats'' franchise after the original series and the 2011 television series. It is Jules Bass's first (and only) solo work without his partner Arthur Rankin Jr., who died on January 30, 2014. The show's premise is similar to the original series; in which the ThunderCats escape their dying homeworld Thundera, crash-land on Third Earth, and face off against various villains led by the evil overlord Mumm-Ra. Like ''Teen Titans Go!'', ''ThunderCats Roar'' sports a more light-hearted, comedic tone than previous incarnations. The series was critically panned for its animation, humor and characterizations, and it ended on December 5, 2020, being cancelled after just one season. Following Jules Bass' death on October 25, 2022, it was ...

Comic Science Fiction
Science fiction comedy (sci-fi comedy) or comic science fiction is a subgenre of science fiction or science fantasy that exploits the science-fiction (SF) genre's conventions for comedic effect. Comic science fiction often mocks or satirizes standard SF conventions – such as alien invasion of Earth, interstellar travel, or futuristic technology. It can also satirize and criticize present-day society. An early example was the '' Pete Manx'' series by Henry Kuttner and Arthur K. Barnes (sometimes writing together and sometimes separately, under the house pen-name of Kelvin Kent). Published in ''Thrilling Wonder Stories'' in the late 1930s and early 1940s, the series featured a time-traveling carnival barker who uses his con-man abilities to get out of trouble. Two later series cemented Kuttner's reputation as one of the most popular early writers of comic science fiction: the ''Gallegher'' series (about a drunken inventor and his narcissistic robot) and the ''Hogben'' series ...

Science Fantasy
Science fantasy is a hybrid genre within speculative fiction that simultaneously draws upon or combines tropes and elements from both science fiction and fantasy. In a conventional science fiction story, the world is presented as being scientifically logical; while a conventional fantasy story contains mostly supernatural and artistic elements that disregard the scientific laws of the real world. The world of science fantasy, however, is laid out to be scientifically logical and often supplied with hard science–like explanations of any supernatural elements.Eric R. Williams, ''The Screenwriters Taxonomy: A Collaborative Approach to Creative Storytelling''p. 121/ref> During the Golden Age of Science Fiction, the fanciful science fantasy stories were seen in sharp contrast to the terse, scientifically plausible material that came to dominate mainstream science fiction typified by the magazine ''Astounding Science Fiction''. Although at this time, science fantasy stories were oft ...

Sword And Planet
Sword and planet is a subgenre of science fantasy that features rousing adventure stories set on other planets, and usually featuring humans as protagonists. The name derives from the heroes of the genre engaging their adversaries in hand-to-hand combat primarily with simple melée weapons such as swords, even in a setting that often has advanced technology. Although there are works that herald the genre, such as Percy Greg's ''Across the Zodiac'' (1880) and Edwin Lester Arnold's '' Lieut. Gullivar Jones: His Vacation'' (1905; published in the US in 1964 as ''Gulliver of Mars''), the prototype for the genre is ''A Princess of Mars'' by Edgar Rice Burroughs originally serialized by ''All-Story'' in 1912 as "Under the Moons of Mars". The genre predates the mainstream popularity of science fiction proper, and does not necessarily feature any scientific rigor, being instead romantic tales of high adventure. For example, little thought is given to explaining why the environment of ...

Similarly, Helen Keller stated that "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing."
