Yio Chu Kang Bus Interchange
Yio Chu Kang Bus Interchange is a bus interchange in the northern part of Ang Mo Kio, Singapore. The interchange is located beneath Yio Chu Kang MRT station. Boarding berths are located north of Yio Chu Kang MRT station concourse while and alighting berths are located south. Formerly known as a bus terminal, it was renamed as a bus interchange on 1 August 2013. Expansion works started in December 2018 and were completed in 2019. Accidents On 23 April 2018 at around 9.30am, three pedestrians were killed after being hit by a lorry. Also involved was a stationary bus at the traffic junction near the exit of the bus interchange. It is situated within Jurong Point and integrated with the nearby Boon Lay MRT station. Hougang Central Bus Interchange is a bus interchange serving the town of Hougang. It is located directly above Hougang MRT station. This bus interchange was planned to be an integrated transport hub. By 2030, Hougang Central Bus Interchange would be majorly renovated to accommodate the Cross Island line section, and would become an Integrated Transport Hub in 2030. Eunos Bus Interchange
Eunos Bus Interchange is a bus interchange located in Geylang East, Singapore. It is located and built beside Eunos MRT station and is surrounded by Eunos Road 2, Eunos Crescent and Sims Avenue. The interchange is designed with traditional Malay roof structure and shape, but using modern materials such as steel beams, similar to that of the Eunos MRT station. It gives a sense of identity to the area as the bus interchange lies close to Geylang and also to honour Eunos Abdullah whom secured 700-hectares of land for the Malay settlements in the early 1900s. Bedok North Bus Depot
Bedok North Bus Depot is an SBS Transit East District bus depot located in Bedok, Singapore. Bedok North Bus Depot started operations in 1982 after the completion of the stretch of road within Bedok North Industrial Park. It replaces the former Changi Bus Depot and Somapah Bus Park which were close to the residential areas and were subject to noise-related complaints. Since 11 December 2011, Service 48 terminates at Bedok North Depot with boarding and alighting done outside at the pair of bus stops. Previously, it terminated at Upper East Coast Bus Terminal.
