List Of Wildstorm Titles
WildStorm started publishing comics in 1992. Since then, they have published an increasing number of titles, both in the Wildstorm fictional universe and in various creator-owned titles. Under the most recent sub-imprint structure, all Cliffhanger and Homage titles were published under the Wildstorm Signature Series sub-imprint, all WildStorm properties were published under the Wildstorm Universe sub-imprint, and all licensed properties were published through the Wildstorm sub-imprint. However, in August 2006, WildStorm dropped all sub-imprints in order to simplify the line for retailers and customers, consolidating their output under a single "Wildstorm" label. WildStorm
Wildstorm Productions, (stylized as WildStorm), is an American comic book imprint. Originally founded as an independent company established by Jim Lee under the name "Aegis Entertainment" and expanded in subsequent years by other creators, Wildstorm became a publishing imprint of DC Comics in 1999. Until it was shut down in 2010, the Wildstorm imprint remained editorially separate from DC Comics, with its main studio located in California. The imprint took its name from the combining of the titles of the Jim Lee comic series '' WildC.A.T.S.'' and '' Stormwatch''. Its main fictional universe, the Wildstorm Universe, featured costumed heroes. Wildstorm maintained a number of its core titles from its early period, and continued to publish material expanding its core universe. The Boys (comics)
''The Boys'' is a comic book series, written by Garth Ennis and co-created, designed, and illustrated by Darick Robertson. It was originally published by WildStorm (DC Comics), before being cancelled after its first volume, and revived by Dynamite Entertainment, who published the following eight volumes. Debuting in October 2006, the series concluded in November 2012 with the release of the 72nd and final issue. In the fourth volume, the series is revealed to be set in the same fictional universe as Ennis' previous 1995–2000 DC Vertigo series, ''Preacher'', with former vampire Proinsias Cassidy cameoing as a bartender. ''Ex Machina'' is an American creator-owned comic book series, created by Brian K. Vaughan and Tony Harris and published by DC Comics under the Wildstorm imprint. ''Ex Machina'' launched in 2004 as part of DC Comics' Wildstorm imprint. The series ended in August 2010 with issue fifty. The series details the life of Mitchell Hundred (also known as the Great Machine), the world's first and only superhero, who, in the wake of his actions on 9/11, is elected mayor of New York City. The story is set during Hundred's term in office, and interwoven with flashbacks to his past as the Great Machine. Image Comics is an American comic book publisher and is the third largest comic book and graphic novel publisher in the industry in both unit and market share. It was founded in 1992 by several high-profile illustrators as a venue for creator-owned properties, in which comics creators could publish material of their own creation without giving up the copyrights to those properties. Normally this isn't the case in the work for hire-dominated American comics industry, where the legal author is a publisher, such as Marvel Comics or DC Comics, and the creator is an employee of that publisher. Desolation Jones
''Desolation Jones'' was a bimonthly comic book series written by Warren Ellis. Art for the first six-issue storyline was provided by J.H. Williams III and José Villarrubia. The interrupted second storyline was illustrated by Danijel Zezelj and Villarrubia. The series is published by the Wildstorm imprint of DC Comics; it was launched in July 2005. The story follows the former MI6 agent Jones. Film producer David Friendly announced in 2008, while the comic was in production limbo, that he intended to adapt ''Desolation Jones'' as a feature film. Fictional character biography Michael Cray was born to U.S. Navy Admiral Phillip James Cray and Elizabeth Cray. He has a brother named Alexander. Michael Cray's daughter is Rachel Goldman, a.k.a. ''Cybernary'' is a comic book series created by comic book artist Nick Manabat with writer Steve Gerber and published by American company Wildstorm Productions in 1995. It tells the story of ''Katrina Cupertino,'' a cybernetic anti-heroine carrying the consciousness of Yamiko Gamorra. Publication history ''Cybernary'' began as a backup story to Jim Lee's run on '' Deathblow'', but Manabat's work on the series was cut short with his untimely demise due to a longtime illness.
