Cover Model
A cover model is a male or female whose photograph appears on the front cover of a magazine. The cover model is generally a fashion model, celebrity, or contest winner. Generally, cover models are depicted solitarily; however, on occasion magazines will present a front cover with multiple cover models. Female cover models are often referred to as cover girls. Cover models generally take part in a fashion or portrait photography photo shoot for the magazine. When a magazine depicts a candid or stock photography, stock image for the main cover image, the talent is referred to as the magazine "cover" rather than "cover model" or "cover girl". Paulina Porizkova
Paulina Porizkova (born Pavlína Pořízková, ; 9 April 1965) is a Swedish model. Born in Czechoslovakia and raised in Sweden, Porizkova became the first Central European woman to appear on the cover of the ''Sports Illustrated'' swimsuit issue in 1984. As an actress, Porizkova made her film debut in ''Anna'' (1987). Elaine Irwin (born August 26, 1969) is an American model. She was the face of Almay Cosmetics and Ralph Lauren. Early life and career Elaine Irwin was born in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania. Liskula Cohen (born February 3, 1972) is a Canadian-born fashion model, based in New York City, who has appeared in, and on the covers of, various fashion magazines including ''Vogue'', '' Elle'', and ''Cleo''.Liskula Cohen in the On January 14, 2007, Samir Dervisevic, a New York City doorman, struck her in the face with a glass vodka bottle.
