Henry Towne Bannon (June 5, 1867 – September 6, 1950) was a U.S. Representative from Ohio for two terms from 1905 to 1909. Arthur Brown (Utah)
Arthur Brown (March 8, 1843December 12, 1906) was a United States Senator from Utah. Early life Arthur Brown was born March 8, 1843, on a farm in Prairie Ronde, Kalamazoo County, Michigan. When he was thirteen the family moved to Yellow Springs, Ohio where he attended Antioch College, from which he graduated with a BA degree in 1862. He pursued graduate work at the University of Michigan while also attending the University of Michigan Law School, and he received a MA in 1863 and an LLB in 1864. Brown practiced law in Kalamazoo, and also became active in politics as a Republican. Career In 1879, he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah Territory, in hopes of being appointed U.S. district attorney for the territory. Failing to do so, he instead set up a private law practice. Marriott Brosius
Marriott Henry Brosius (March 7, 1843 – March 16, 1901) was a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania. Education and military service Marriott Brosius was born in Colerain Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where he attended Thomas Baker's Academy. During the American Civil War, he enlisted as a private in Company K, Ninety-seventh Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, in October 1861, for three years, and reenlisted May 1864. He was honorably discharged in December 1864. On February 28, 1865, was commissioned a second lieutenant for bravery on the field of battle. After the war he attended the State Normal School at Millersville, Pennsylvania, and the law department of the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. William McNulty Brodhead (born September 12, 1941) is an American lawyer and former politician from Michigan who served four terms in the United States House of Representatives from 1975 to 1983. Early life and education Brodhead was born in Cleveland, Ohio and attended elementary and secondary schools in Cleveland. He received a B.A. from Wayne State University in Detroit, in 1965 and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, Ann Arbor, in 1967. Abraham Lincoln Brick (May 27, 1860 – April 7, 1908) was an American attorney and politician. He served five terms in the United States House of Representatives from 1899 until his death in 1908. Early life and education Abraham Lincoln Brick was born on his father's farm, near South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana on May 27, 1860. Brick attended the common schools and was graduated from the South Bend High School. Samuel Myron Brainerd
Samuel Myron Brainerd (November 13, 1842 – November 21, 1898) was a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania. Samuel M. Brainerd was born in Albion, Pennsylvania. He attended the public schools, Edinboro Normal School, and University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was admitted to the bar in 1869 and commenced practice in North East, Pennsylvania. He served as district attorney of Erie County, Pennsylvania, from 1872 to 1875. He moved to Erie, Pennsylvania, in 1874 and continued the practice of law. He was chairman of the Republican county committee in 1880. William Patterson Borland (October 14, 1867 – February 20, 1919) was a U.S. Representative from Missouri. Early life William Patterson Borland was born on October 14, 1867, in Leavenworth, Kansas. Borland attended public school. He graduated from the law department of the University of Michigan in 1892. He was admitted to the bar. Career After graduating, Borland commenced the practice of law in Kansas City, Missouri. He assisted in the organization of the Kansas City School of Law and served as dean from 1895 through 1909. Borland served as member of the board of freeholders directed to draft a charter for Kansas City in 1898. He also engaged as an author on law subjects. Roswell Peter Bishop
Roswell Peter Bishop (January 6, 1843 – March 4, 1920) was an American Civil War veteran, lawyer, and a politician from the U.S. state of Michigan. He served six terms in the United States House of Representatives from 1895 to 1907. Early life, Civil War service and education Bishop was born in Sidney, New York, and attended Unadilla Academy, Cooperstown Seminary and Walton Academy, all in Upstate New York, after which he taught school for several years. During the American Civil War, he enlisted as a private in Company C, Forty-third Regiment, New York Volunteer Infantry, in 1861, and was discharged in December 1862 because of a wound which necessitated the amputation of his right arm.
