Telugu Language
Telugu (; , ) is a Dravidian language spoken by Telugu people predominantly living in the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where it is also the official language. It is the most widely spoken member of the Dravidian language family and one of the twenty-two scheduled languages of the Republic of India. It is one of the few languages that has primary official status in more than one Indian state, alongside Hindi and Bengali. Telugu is one of six languages designated as a classical language (of India) by the Government of India. B R Vijay Kumar, who is professionally known as Duniya Vijay and Duniya Viji, is an Indian actor who appears in Kannada films. He began his career playing small roles until he got his big break in '' Duniya'' (2007). He is noted for his performances in ''Chanda'' (2007), ''Junglee'' (2009), ''Johny Mera Naam Preethi Mera Kaam'' (2011) and '' Jayammana Maga'' (2013). Varalaxmi Sarathkumar (born 5 March 1985) is an Indian actress who appears in Tamil and Telugu films, in addition to Kannada and Malayalam films. Nandamuri Balakrishna (born 10 June 1960), simply known as Balakrishna or Balayya or NBK, is an Indian actor, producer and politician. ''Kushi'' () is a 2023 Indian Telugu-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Shiva Nirvana. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the production banner Mythri Movie Makers, the film features Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha with Sachin Khedekar, Saranya Ponvannan and Murali Sharma in supporting roles. Bandreddi Sukumar (born 23 January 1970) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer who works in Telugu cinema. He is known for his complex, multi-layered screenplays and for infusing grey shades in the character sketches of his protagonists. He is one of the highest paid directors in South Indian cinema. Sukumar worked as a mathematics and physics lecturer at a junior college in Kakinada for nearly seven years before pursuing a directional career in films.
