Cinema Of Andhra Pradesh
Telugu cinema, also known as Tollywood, is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Telugu language, widely spoken in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Telugu cinema is based in Film Nagar, Hyderabad, India. The nickname ''Tollywood'' is a portmanteau of the words Telugu and Hollywood. By 2021, it has emerged as the largest film industry in India in terms of box-office. Since 1909, filmmaker Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu was involved in producing short films and travelling to different regions in Asia to promote film work. Ali (actor)
Ali (born 10 October 1967) is an Indian actor, comedian, and TV presenter who works predominantly in Telugu films and television. He acted in more than 1000 films in Telugu. He is a recipient of two Nandi Awards and two Filmfare Awards South. Early life Ali was born in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India. His father was a tailor and his mother was a home maker. He has one younger brother named Khayyum, who is also an actor. Ali married Zubeda Sultana in 1994. The couple has two daughters and a son. Indraja
Rajathi, better known by her stage name Indraja, is an Indian actress known for her work in Telugu and Malayalam films. She has also appeared in a few Tamil and Kannada films, in addition to television shows. Early life Indraja was born as Rajathi in a Telugu Brahmin family in Chennai. She is the eldest of three sisters and comes from a Carnatic music family. During school days, she won prizes in singing and drama competitions. Gadde Rajendra Prasad (born 19 July 1956) is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Telugu films. He is a recipient of four Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards, three SIIMA Awards, and three Santosham Film Awards. Prasad made his debut in 1977 with '' Sneham'' and gained recognition with ''Manchu Pallaki'' (1982). ''Chinni Chinni Aasa'' () is a 1999 Telugu-language drama film, produced by Thalasani Shankar Yadav, Lingasetty Lakshman Goud, Athaili Srinivas Goud under the Lakshmi Sai Srinivasa Productions banner and directed by Relangi Narasimha Rao. It stars Rajendra Prasad and Indraja, with music composed by Raj. The film was inspired by the 1966 Telugu movie ''Manase Mandiram'', starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Savitri in the pivotal roles, which itself is a remake of the Tamil movie ''Nenjil Or Aalayam'' (1962).
