Cinema Of Andhra Pradesh
Telugu cinema, also known as Tollywood, is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Telugu language, widely spoken in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Telugu cinema is based in Film Nagar, Hyderabad, India. The nickname ''Tollywood'' is a portmanteau of the words Telugu and Hollywood. By 2021, it has emerged as the largest film industry in India in terms of box-office. Since 1909, filmmaker Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu was involved in producing short films and travelling to different regions in Asia to promote film work. Koti (composer)
Dr.Salur Koteshwara Rao, known professionally as Koti, is an Indian composer, record producer, and singer who predominantly works in Telugu and Hindi films. He has composed music for over 475 films. The son of veteran composer S. Rajeswara Rao, in early 1980s Koti teamed with Somaraju (Raj), son of T. V. Raju, and the resulting duo was known as Raj–Koti. The duo composed music for about 180 films from their debut in 1983 till their separation in 1994. After the separation, Koti has composed music and background score for more than 350+ movies. He won Nandi Award for Best Music Director for the film Hello Brother (1994). He started his music career as an assistant to music director K. Chakravarthy. Composers such as A. R. Nassar (actor)
M. Nassar (born 5 March 1958) is an Indian actor, director, producer, dubbing artist, singer and politician who mainly works in the Tamil and Telugu film industries he has also worked in few Malayalam, English and Hindi films. He is the incumbent president of the Nadigar Sangam. Early life and education Nassar was born on 5 March 1958 to Mehaboob Basha and Mumtaz in Tamil Nadu, India. He studied in St. Joseph's Higher Secondary School (Chengalpattu). He moved to Madras (now Chennai) after school, where he finished his pre-university at Madras Christian College. Gangasani Rami Reddy also known as Spot Nana (1 January 1959 – 14 April 2011) was an Indian actor in Telugu cinema. He also tried as director and producer. He is known for his negative roles, character roles and comedy timing. He was a well-known villain and he had an inimitable style with typical Telangana dialect. Mysore Seshaiah Suresh Babu Naidu is an Indian actor, producer, director, and dubbing artist. He has acted predominantly in Tamil and Telugu languages. Personal life Suresh was born in Sri Kalhasthi. His parents were also born in Sri Kalahasthi. His grandfather was from Nellore. Career Suresh started his career as an editing assistant and a dance assistant. Ammoru () is a 1995 Indian Telugu-language Hindu mythological fantasy film directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. The film is produced by Shyam Prasad Reddy, under M. S. Arts Unit. It stars Ramya Krishna as Goddess Ammoru and Soundarya as her devotee, Bhavani. Suresh, Rami Reddy, Baby Sunaina, Vadivukkarasi, Kallu Chidambaram, and Babu Mohan play supporting roles. Thotakura Somaraju and Saluri Koteswara Rao, popularly known as Raj–Koti were Indian film music composers, singer-songwriters, record producers, musicians and multi-instrumentalists duo in Telugu cinema, In a notable career spanning a decade, the duo has garnered particular acclaim for redefining contemporary Telugu film music. Rajathi, better known by her stage name Indraja, is an Indian actress known for her work in Telugu and Malayalam films.
