Telugu People
Telugu people ( te, తెలుగువారు, Teluguvāru), or Telugus, or Telugu vaaru, are the largest of the four major Dravidian ethnolinguistic groups in terms of population. Telugus are native to the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and the Yanam district of Puducherry. A significant number of Telugus also reside in the surrounding Indian states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, and Odisha, as well in the union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Manchu Bhakthavatsalam, credited and also known as Mohan Babu, is an Indian actor and producer known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. Akkineni Nageswara Rao (20 September 1923 – 22 January 2014), widely known as ANR, was an Indian actor and producer, known for his works majorly in Telugu cinema. He starred in many landmark films in his seventy five-year career, and became one of the most prominent figures of Telugu cinema. Nageswara Rao received seven state Nandi Awards, and five Filmfare Awards South. ''Chilipi Krishnudu'' is a 1978 Telugu-language romantic drama film produced by D. Ramanaidu under the Suresh Productions banner and directed by Boina Subba Rao. Latha, also known as M.G.R. Latha or Latha Sethupathi, (born 7 June 1953) is an Indian actress, who played leading roles in South Indian films from 1973 to 1983. Rallapalli Venkata Narasimha Rao (15 August 1945 – 17 May 2019), popularly known as Rallapalli, was an Indian actor known for his works primarily in Telugu films and television. He received two state Nandi Awards. Life and career Rallapalli Venkata Narasimha Rao was born in Anantapuramu, Andhra Pradesh in 1945. He started off his career in 1960 as a theatre artist before marking his movie debut in 1974 with ''Sthree''. He acted in about 850 films in a variety of roles, including that of a lead actor. Tadinada Varaprasad popularly known as Nutan Prasad (12 December 1945 – 30 March 2011) was an Indian actor who predominantly worked in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre.
