The fastest times in the swimming events at the South American Games are designated as the South American Games records in swimming and maintained by the South American Swimming Confederation ( CONSANAT). Matheus Santana
Matheus Paulo de Santana (born 2 April 1996 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is a Brazilian swimmer. He will represent DC Trident at the International Swimming League during the 2020 season. International career Santana started competing in national championships in 2008. His first national title came in the Youth I category, in November 2011. Santana swam for the Brazilian team in Multinations, at Corfu, Greece, in 2012. At the 2013 Youth South American Championships in Chile, he won the 100-metre freestyle and finished third in the 50-metre freestyle. 2013–16 Santana was classified to the 2013 FINA World Junior Swimming Championships in Dubai, but was cut because of diabetes. Jhennifer Alves da Conceição (born June 13, 1997, in Nova Friburgo) is a Brazilian swimmer. Finalist at the 2022 World Championships in the 50m breaststroke. International career 2015–16 At the 2015 South American Swimming Youth Championships, held in Lima, Peru, Conceição won two gold medals in the 100-metre breaststroke, and in the 4x50-metre medley relay. At the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Conceição won a bronze medal in the 4 × 100 metre medley relay, along with Etiene Medeiros, Daynara de Paula and Larissa Oliveira. She also went to the 100 metre breaststroke, where she classified 5th in the heats, but was disqualified in the final. Maria Paula Heitmann (born 31 January 1999 in Belo Horizonte) is a Brazilian swimmer. She was at the 2017 Summer Universiade in Taipei, Taiwan. At the 2018 José Finkel Trophy, she broke the South American record in 4×200m freestyle relay with a time of 7:50.57 along with Ana Carolina Vieira, Camila Mello and Andressa Cholodovskis. Stephanie Balduccini (born 20 September 2004) is a Brazilian swimmer. She competed in the 2020 Summer Olympics at age 16. In the 100m freestyle, she finished 6th at the 2024 World Championships in Doha, and obtained a silver at the 2023 Pan American Games. She is the daughter of Natalie, a British descendant who was born in Brazil, and Bruno. They both enrolled her in an English language school as a child, so the first language she learned was English, not Portuguese, which she later mastered. Ana Carolina Vieira (born October 24, 2001, in São Paulo) is a Brazilian swimmer. She represented Brazil at the 2020 Summer Olympics. The women's 800 metre freestyle competition at the 2014 South American Games took place on March 8 at the Estadio Nacional.
