This is a list of characters appearing in a franchise for the animated holiday series '' SantApprentice'' and two animated films '' Santa's Apprentice'' and '' The Magic Snowflake''. North Pole Nicholas Barnsworth Nicholas is a 7-year-old orphan boy from Sydney, Australia. He's the chosen one because his heart is pure, he loves Christmas and also believes in Santa. He's the one who's in training to be a new Santa by performing some tasks, overcome some obstacles and using Christmas magic. Santa Claus Santa Claus is the one whose in charge of Christmas at the North Pole. He trains Nicholas, runs his workshop and shows Nicholas the secrets of being Santa. SantApprentice
''SantApprentice'' is an animated television series in 50 episodes of 12 minutes and two 26 minute episodes created by Belgian animator Jan Van Rijsselberge and made by Alphanim (now Gaumont Animation) in 2006. The holiday series follows the adventures of Nicolas, a young orphan boy from Sydney, Australia, who is a pure of heart and believes in Santa Claus as he is Santa's Apprentice. Nicolas's job is to achieve his tasks to become full-fledged Santa. Broadcast It has been shown on Starz Kids and Family in the United States. As well as YTV in Canada. France, Germany, Finland, Scandinavia, Poland and some other countries in Europe as well as Latin America to continue to show this animated TV series during the holiday season. In Philippines it was aired in Christmas 2015 on ABS-CBN. From 2018-2020, SantApprentice has been shown on Amazon Prime Video. All of these dubs can be still viewed on YouTube. ''Santa's Apprentice'' (original French title ''L'Apprenti Père Noel'') is a 2010 animated Christmas film produced and animated by Gaumont-Alphanim (now Gaumont Animation). Avril Stark Entertainment and Cartoon Saloon provided additional animation for the film. It is based on the animated TV series ''SantApprentice''. A sequel, titled ''The Magic Snowflake'', was released on 20 November 2013 in France. Plot The film opens in Sydney, Australia where Nicholas and his best friend Felix, gazing at the department store window seeing what Santa's workshop looks like. They reside at the orphanage where all the Children were orphans. The bully, Grincroch, picks on Nicholas that Santa doesn't exist as he asks him that he's afraid of heights. But, Nicholas manages to retrieve a toy for the child after climbing up the orphanage fence. Nicholas was pure of heart believing Christmas and Santa. ''The Magic Snowflake'' (original French title ''L'Apprenti Père Noël et le flocon magique'') is a 2013 animated Christmas adventure comedy film made by Gaumont Animation. This full-length animated feature film was co-produced with Snipple Animation and Dapaco Productions. This is a sequel to the 2010 animated film '' Santa's Apprentice''. Plot The movie opens where a little boy writes a letter to Santa Claus that he wants a remote control flying bug and mails it to the North Pole. At the North Pole, an Inuit Eskimo boy named Tim-Tim picks up the mail to deliver it to Santa's Workshop. Beatrice Lovejoy, Santa's wife, picks up the mail, but she won't allow Tim-Tim to take a peek inside. As Santa is about to make his rounds, Mrs. Lovejoy closes the roof and reminds Santa to celebrate his retirement in Sydney, Australia.
