The PFF National Challenge Cup is an annual semi-professional Single-elimination tournament, knockout association football, football competition in men's domestic Football in Pakistan, Pakistani football within the Pakistan football league system. It is organized by and named after the Pakistan Football Federation. Khan Research Laboratories F.C., Khan Research Laboratories have won the most titles (six). Agniya Barto
Agniya Lvovna Barto ( rus, А́гния Льво́вна Барто́, p=ˈaɡnʲɪjə ˈlʲvovnə bɐrˈto, a=Agniya L'vovna Barto.ru.vorb.oga; – 1 April 1981) was a Soviet poet and children's writer of Russian Jewish origin. Biography Agniya was born Gitel Leybovna Volova in Moscow to a Russian Jewish family. Her father, Lev Nikolayevich Volov, was a veterinarian, and her mother, Maria (''née'' Blokh), was from Kaunas, Lithuania. Agniya studied at a ballet school. She liked poetry and soon started to write her own, trying to imitate Anna Akhmatova and Vladimir Mayakovsky. She read her poetry at the graduation ceremony from the ballet school. Among the guests was the Minister of Education Anatoly Lunacharsky who remarked that instead of becoming a ballerina she should be a professional poet. Anna Barkova
Anna Alexandrovna Barkova (russian: link=no, А́нна Алекса́ндровна Барко́ва), July 16, 1901 – April 29, 1976, was a Soviet poet, journalist, playwright, essayist, memoirist, and writer of fiction. She was imprisoned for more than 20 years in the Gulag. In 2017 a film about her life was released by Ceská , titled ''8 hlav sílenství'' (also known as ''8 Heads of Madness''), starring the popular singer Aneta Langerová; it's mainly about her life in the camps and the women she loved. Early life Anna Alexandrovna Barkova was born into the family of a private school janitor in the textile town of Ivanovo in 1901. She was allowed to attend the school because of her father's position, a rare opportunity for a young working class girl in pre-revolutionary Russia. Ivan Barkov
Ivan Semyonovich Barkov ( rus, Ива́н Семёнович Барко́в, p=ɪˈvan sʲɪˈmʲɵnəvʲɪtɕ bɐrˈkof, a=Ivan Syemyonovich Barkov.ru.vorb.oga; –1768) was a Russian poet, the author of erotic "Shameful Odes". He was a student of Mikhail Lomonosov, whose works he frequently parodied. He was also a translator and editor at the Russian Academy of Sciences. Biography Ivan Barkov was born in 1732 in the family of an Orthodox priest. In 1744 he entered an Orthodox Seminary where he spent 5 years. In 1748 at Lomonosov's recommendation he was admitted to the Academic Gymnasium. Language and poetry were his fields of study. He was an uneven student, and he repeatedly was subjected to corporal punishment (whippings) for drunkenness, insolence, and slander against the rector. Jurgis Baltrušaitis (May 2, 1873 – January 3, 1944) was a Lithuanian symbolist poet and translator, who wrote his works in Lithuanian and Russian. In addition to his important contributions to Lithuanian literature, he was noted as a political activist and diplomat. Himself one of the foremost exponents of iconology, he was the father of art historian and critic Jurgis Baltrušaitis Jr. Writer Baltrušaitis was born to a family of farmers in Paantvardys village near Jurbarkas, which was then under Imperial Russian rule. In 1885, he entered Kaunas gymnasium, and graduated in 1893; he then entered the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at Moscow University. At the same time, he attended lectures in the Faculty of History and Philology, and studied foreign languages; Baltrušaitis learned 15 foreign languages during his life. It was first published in 1900 by Scorpion in Moscow and made its author famous across his country. ''Let Us Be Like the Sun'' is the sixth book of poetry by Konstantin Balmont, first published in 1903 by Scorpion in Moscow. For an epigraph, Balmont has chosen the words of Anaxagoras: "I entered this world to see the Sun." Konstantin Dmitriyevich Balmont ( rus, Константи́н Дми́триевич Бальмо́нт, p=kənstɐnʲˈtʲin ˈdmʲitrʲɪjɪvʲɪdʑ bɐlʲˈmont, a=Konstantin Dmitriyevich Bal'mont.ru.vorb.oga; – 23 December 1942) was a Russian symbolist poet and translator who became one of the major figures of the Silver Age of Russian Poetry.
