The goals scored represent players who have scored three goals (a hat-trick) or more in a single league match in Portugal's top football division. The players displayed in the article who have scored hat-tricks are listed from the 1985–86 Primeira Divisão season onwards. Fernando Baptista de Seixas Peyroteo de Vasconcelos (10 March 1918 – 28 November 1978) was a Portuguese footballer who played as a striker. He spent his entire professional career with Sporting CP, scoring 544 goals in all competitions, winning 11 major titles and being crowned his country's top-division scorer on six occasions. Club career Born in Humpata, Huíla Province, Portuguese Angola, Peyroteo arrived at Sporting CP on 26 June 1937 after being introduced to the club by family friend Aníbal Paciência, and he quickly impressed new manager József Szabó by scoring a hat-trick in a practice match. Diamantino Manuel Fernandes Miranda (born 3 August 1959), known simply as Diamantino in his playing days, is a Portuguese professional football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He is the current manager of Mozambican club Liga Desportiva de Maputo. Estádio da Luz (, Stadium of Light), officially named Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica, was a multi-purpose stadium located in Lisbon, Portugal. It was used mostly for football matches and hosted the home matches of S.L. Benfica and the Portugal national team. The stadium was opened on 1 December 1954 and it was able to hold an official maximum of 120,000 people, making it the largest stadium in Europe and the third largest in the world in terms of capacity. Arnaldo Edi Lopes da Silva (born 7 July 1982), known as Edinho, is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a striker. Over 11 seasons, he appeared in 185 Primeira Liga matches and scored a total of 49 goals for Braga (two spells), Paços de Ferreira, Vitória de Setúbal (twice) Marítimo, Académica and Feirense. Bas Dost (; born 31 May 1989) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a forward for Eredivisie club FC Utrecht. Having begun his career at FC Emmen in the Eerste Divisie, Dost later played in the Eredivisie for Heracles Almelo and SC Heerenveen. In 2012, after being the top scorer in the league with 32 goals in 34 games, he was signed by VfL Wolfsburg.
