List Of Parliamentary Constituencies In Worcestershire
There are 8 Parliamentary constituencies in the ceremonial counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire. From 1974 to 1998 the two counties were administratively and ceremonially one, called Hereford and Worcester, and the constituencies crossed the traditional county boundaries. This continued to be the case up to and including the 2005 general election, but since the 2010 general election two constituencies fall entirely within Herefordshire and six within Worcestershire. There are 2 borough constituencies and 6 county constituencies. Jesse Norman
Alexander Jesse Norman (born 23 June 1962) is a British Conservative Party politician serving as Minister of State for Decarbonisation and Technology since October 2022. He previously served as Minister of State for the Americas and the Overseas Territories from September to October 2022. Beverley Nielsen
Beverley Nielsen (born 25 January 1960), is an entrepreneur, educator and campaigner who works as executive director, Institute for Design, Economic Acceleration & Sustainability (IDEAS) at Birmingham City University. She has previously worked as a director for AGA Rangemaster, and as managing director for Fired Earth. Harriett Mary Morison Baldwin (; born 2 May 1960) is a British Conservative Party politician serving as Member of Parliament (MP) for West Worcestershire since 2010. Prior to her parliamentary career, she worked for the investment bank JPMorgan Chase. She served as Minister of State for Africa and International Development from 2018 to 2019 until new Prime Minister Boris Johnson removed her from these positions. Redditch is a town, and local government district, in north-east Worcestershire, England, approximately south of Birmingham. The district has a population of 85,000 as of 2019. In the 19th century, it became the international centre for the needle and fishing tackle industry. At one point, 90% of the world's needles were manufactured in the town and its neighbourhoods. In the 1960s, it became a model for modern new town planning. Rachel Helen Maclean (née Cooke; born 3 October 1965) is a Conservative Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament for Redditch in Worcestershire since 2017 and current Conservative Party Vice Chairman.
