The Papua New Guinean records in swimming are the fastest ever performances of swimmers representing Papua New Guinea. The records are recognised and ratified by the nations swimming federation: Papua New Guinea Swimming Inc. The records are for both long course (50m) and short course (25m) events. Swimming at the 2011 Pacific Games in Nouméa was dominated by the host team New Caledonia who won thirty-three of the forty events contested. The 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games, officially known as the VI Commonwealth Youth Games, and commonly known as Bahamas 2017, or Nassau 2017, was the sixth edition of the Commonwealth Youth Games which started in 2000.
