Below is a list of current Oceania Swimming Championships records as ratified by the Oceania Swimming Association. Of the 38 events, Australia currently holds records in 21 of them, New Zealand 16 and Papua New Guinea 1. Going into the 2010 Championships, one record set at the inaugural Championships still stood: Rebecca Brown's 2:28.24 in 200 m breaststroke. On the final night of the 2010 Championships, Australia's Rebecca Kemp broke Brown's 17-year-old record, lowering the mark to 2:26.63. Madeline Groves (born 25 May 1995) is an Australian competitive swimmer. She was the Australian national champion in the 200 m butterfly event in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. At the 2014 Commonwealth Games she was a bronze medallist in the 200 m butterfly event, and swam in the heats for the gold medal-winning Australian freestyle relay team. She was selected to represent Australia in the 100 m and 200 m butterfly, and 4 × 200 m freestyle relay events at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. He won the silver medal in the 50 m breaststroke at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in a time of 27.67 seconds.
