The Las Vegas Raiders are a professional American football team based in Paradise, Nevada. They are a member of the American Football Conference West Division (AFC West). The team began play in 1960 as a charter member of the American Football League, which merged with the National Football League in 1970. In 1982, the team relocated to Los Angeles, where they remained until the franchise returned to Oakland in 1995, where they remained until 2019 when they once again relocated to the Las Vegas area. The 1963 American Football League draft was held in Dallas on Saturday, December 1, 1962. The Kansas City Chiefs drafted as the Dallas Texans, as their relocation would take place a few months later. The NC State Wolfpack football team represents North Carolina State University in the sport of American football. 1960 American Football League Draft
The 1960 American Football League draft was held on November 23–24, 1959, in Minneapolis, shortly after the organization of the league, and lasted 33 rounds. An additional draft of 20 rounds was held by the AFL on December 2. Teams were required to fill the 11 squad positions by selecting four backs, two ends, two tackles, two guards, and a center with their first 11 picks.
