''Being Mrs Elliot'' is a 2014 Nigerian romantic comedy film, co-produced and directed by Omoni Oboli. It stars Majid Michel, Omoni Oboli, Ayo Makun, Sylvia Oluchy and Seun Akindele. Frank Rajah Arase (born Frank Rajah Efosa Arase) is a Nigerian film director. Arase is a native of Edo State, Nigeria. He was nominated for '' Best Director'' at the 4th Africa Movie Academy Awards. Early life Arase was born in Benin City, Edo, Nigeria. He grew up in Lagos where he started his film career. Career Arase ventured into the show business at a very young age. He started out as a theatre practitioner in Nigeria; he was a dancer for National Theatre troupe and also acted in stage plays. Deola Sagoe is an haute couture fashion designer from Ondo State, Nigeria. She won both the Best Costume Designer at the 2015 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards and Achievement in Costume Design at the 11th Africa Movie Academy Awards as the costume designer for the film ''October 1''. Kunle Afolayan (born 30 September 1975) is a Nigerian actor, producer and director. ''October 1'' (2014) is a Nigerian dark psychological thriller film written by Tunde Babalola, and produced and directed by Kunle Afolayan. It stars Sadiq Daba, Kayode Olaiya, David Bailie, Kehinde Bankole, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Fabian Adeoye Lojede, Nick Rhys, Kunle Afolayan, Femi Adebayo, Bimbo Manuel, Ibrahim Chatta, and introduces Demola Adedoyin; it also features a special appearance by Deola Sagoe. The film is set in the last months of Colonial Nigeria in 1960.
