Radio The New England Patriots' flagship radio station is WBZ-FM 98.5 FM, owned by CBS Radio. The larger radio network is called the "New England Patriots Radio Network", whose 35 affiliate stations span seven states. Gil Santos and Gino Cappelletti were the longtime announcing team. In 2011, the network debuted a sideline reporter, with former quarterback Scott Zolak handling sideline duty. On July 20, 2012, Gino Cappelletti announced his retirement, ending a 32-year career as the popular color analyst on the team’s radio broadcasts, and was replaced by Zolak. Brig.-Gen. John Warren Carlson (December 17, 1933 – April 5, 2016) was an American military officer and sportscaster. Cy Follmer
Cyrus Brown "Cy" Follmer, Jr. was an American broadcaster. Early life Follmer was born on December 14, 1933, in Berlin, where his father was U.S. Vice Consul. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He later graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in broadcasting. Broadcasting After graduating, Follmer worked for KASE-FM in Austin, Texas. In 1961, he moved to KXYZ in Houston. In 1963, he began hosting the ''After Hours Show'', a 2 to 3 am jazz program on KTOK in Oklahoma City. He then worked for WSVA AM, WSVA-FM, and WSVA-TV. In 1965, he left Harrisonburg to become sports director at WTVM-TV in Columbus, Georgia. Matthew L. Chatham (born June 28, 1977) is a former American football linebacker. He played college football at South Dakota. He played for the New England Patriots and New York Jets. High school years Chatham attended Sioux City North High School in Sioux City, Iowa, and won All-State honors in football and baseball. College career Chatham attended the University of South Dakota. As a junior, he made 95 tackles and six interceptions. In his senior year he made 74 tackles and one interception. He was a double major in English and Criminal Justice at South Dakota. Dan Roche is a sports anchor and reporter for WBZ-TV and WSBK-TV in Boston for over 20 years. Early life and education Roche was born in Methuen, Massachusetts. He attended and North Andover High School and then enrolled at Nasson College. When the college shut down in 1983, Roche transferred to Syracuse University. He graduated from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism in 1987. During college, he joined WAER-FM as a freshman and was mentored by Sean McDonough, who was a senior at Syracuse. Career Roche's early career included stints at WCCM, WCGY, WHDH, and WRKO.
