Cherry Creek is a neighborhood in Denver, Colorado, in the United States. It has many newer residences mixed in with some of Denver's older homes. Geography The neighborhood is located near the geographic center of the City and County of Denver and is a mixture of dense urban development and tree lined residential streets. It is bounded by the Cherry Creek on the south, East Sixth Avenue to the north, University Boulevard and Colorado Boulevard ( Colorado State Highway 2) on the west and east, respectively. Geography Baker is an area of , approximately south of Denver Civic Center, generally defined by these boundaries: on the north by West 6th Avenue, on the east by Broadway, on the south by West Mississippi Avenue, and on the west by the South Platte River. Washington Park is a neighborhood and public urban park in Denver, Colorado. The Washington Park is a blend of historic and contemporary styles of architecture. Country Club is a neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. According to the Piton Foundation, "The Country Club neighborhood is bounded by University Boulevard, Cherry Creek, Downing Street, and 8th Avenue. Two main features of the neighborhood are the Denver Country Club and Country Club Place subdivision, designed by William and Arthur Fisher, working with Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. in 1909." The neighborhood consists of 380 homes, making it one of Denver's smallest in number of homes. However, most of the lots and houses are large.
