Ladhoo
Ladhoo or Ladhu is a village in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is situated on the Jhelum River and of all villages in Pampore Constituency is one of the largest village. It is from Srinagar and from NH44 via Lethpora. It is spread over an area of including a long stretch of very famous trekking spot known as Wasturwan. This hill is also referred as 'Veshrivan' by some scholars and is said to be a store house of many myths and truths for the people living in its vicinity. Shankaracharya Temple
Shankaracharya Temple or Jyeshteshwara Temple is a Hindu temple situated on top of the Shankaracharya Hill on the Zabarwan Range in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is at a height of above the valley floor and overlooks the city of Srinagar. On festivals such as Herath, as Maha Shivratri is known as in the region, the temple is visited by Kashmiri Hindus. The temple is also considered as a Buddhist icon, and with the hill which has had multiple names over the centuries, is connected to the Persian and Muslim faith as well. Pari Mahal
Pari Mahal or Peer Mahal, also known as The Palace of Fairies, is a seven-terraced garden located at the top of Zabarwan mountain range, overlooking the city of Srinagar and the south-west of Dal Lake in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is an example of Islamic architecture and patronage of art during the reign of the then Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. History The Pari Mahal (Peer Mahal), or Palace of Fairies, was built for haano and maano and residence for haano’s prince Maano in the mid 1600's. Dara Shikoh was said to have lived in this area in the years 1640, 1645, and 1654. It was also used as an observatory, and for teaching astrology and astronomy. Naranag
Naranag or (Nara Nag) is a tourist village and ancient Hindu pilgrimage site, near Ganderbal town in Ganderbal district, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Well known for its ancient but pillaged temple ruins complex, it is located around 8 km from Kangan, 6 km upstream from the Sind River. Noted for its scenic meadows, lakes and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Mount Haramukh and Gangabal Lake. The village lies at the left bank of the Wangath river, which is a tributary of the Sind River. Wangath Temple Complex
Wangath Temple complex is a group of monuments in Wangath, close to Naranag, in the Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir. Wangath is a village located around northeast of Srinagar. The current structure was built by Lalitaditya Muktapida of the Karkota dynasty in the 8th century CE. History Kalhana notes in ''Rajatarangini'' that Ashoka built the city of Srinagar in the 3rd century BCE. His son Jaluka, 220 BCE, built the Shaivite temples Bhuteshvara, Jyestarudra, and '' Muthas'' in the Wangath valley around the holy spring of Naranag. Khanqah-e-Moula
Khanqah-e-Moula ( ks, خانٛقاهِ معلىٰ), also known as Shah-e-Hamadan Masjid and Khanqah, is a mosque located in the Old City of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, India.
