Coat Of Arms Of Austria
The current coat of arms of the Republic of Austria has been in use in its first forms by the Austria, First Republic of Austria since 1919. Between 1934 and the Anschluss, German annexation in 1938, the ''Federal State (Bundesstaat Österreich)'' used a different coat of arms, which consisted of a double-headed eagle (one-party corporatism, corporate state led by the clerico-right-wing Fatherland Front (Austria), Fatherland Front - often labeled austro-fascist). The establishment of the Second Republic in 1945 saw the return of the original arms, with broken chains added to symbolise Austria's liberation. In 1981 the ''Wappen der Republik Österreich (Bundeswappen)'' described the blazon in the Federal Constitutional Law (Austrian act) ''(Bundes-Verfassungsgesetz, B-VG).'' Doris Bures
Doris Bures (born 3 August 1962) is an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) who serves as the Second President of the Austrian National Council. From September 2014 to November 2017, she was its President. She served as Minister of Transport, Innovation and Technology from 2008 to 2014. Education and early career Bures attended elementary school and a commercial school. She became a federal secretary of the International Union of Socialist Youth in 1980 and worked in a project with unemployed young people between 1985 and 1986. Werner Faymann (; born 4 May 1960) is an Austrian former politician who was Chancellor of Austria and chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) from 2008 to 2016. On 9 May 2016, he resigned from both positions amid widening criticism within his party. Early and personal life Werner Faymann was born in Vienna and also attended grammar school there. Hubert Gorbach (born 27 July 1956) is an Austrian politician and a member of the Alliance for the Future of Austria (BZÖ). Until April 2005, he was a leading member in the Freedom Party. Born in Vorarlberg, he was vice-governor (german: Landeshauptmannstellvertreter) of Vorarlberg until 2003. In 2003, he succeeded Herbert Haupt as Vice-Chancellor of Austria. Monika Forstinger
Monika Forstinger (born 15 July 1963) is an Austrian businesswoman and former politician associated with the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ). Life Forstinger was born in Schwanenstadt, Upper Austria, in 1963. She studied at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) and the Johannes Kepler University Linz, graduating in 1988 and finishing a doctorate in 1997. Otto Probst (29 December 1911 - 22 December 1978) was an Austrian political activist. He survived the war, despite spending most of it in the Buchenwald concentration camp, followed by two years in a punishment battalion sent to support the war effort on the Russian front.
