__NOTOC__ Dede , also called Dede@Customs House, is a Turkish cuisine, Turkish restaurant in Baltimore, County Cork, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. It was awarded its first Michelin star in 2021 and a second in 2023. History Head chef Ahmet Dede, a native of Ankara, was previously head chef at Mews (restaurant), Mews, another Michelin-starred restaurant in Baltimore. He founded Dede in 2020 with business partner Maria Archer. It opened on 27 April. Instead of the elaborate tasting menu found in most modern haute cuisine restaurants, Dede serves "a less formal dinner with fewer but larger courses." The food is sourced from Cape Clear Island and other local County Cork producers. Dede received a Michelin star in 2021; the Guide Michelin recommended the lobster kebab with Urfa biber, isot pepper; wild Irish venison with buckwheat and orange; and the hazelnut baklava. Ardmore, County Waterford
Ardmore () is a seaside resort and fishing village in County Waterford, Ireland, not far from Youghal on the south coast of Ireland. It has a permanent population of around 430, that increases in the tourist season. It is believed to be the oldest Christian settlement in Ireland. According to tradition, Saint Declan lived in the region in the early 5th century, and Christianised the area before the coming of Saint Patrick. The House (restaurant)
House is one of the restaurants at the Cliff House Hotel in Ardmore, County Waterford, Ireland. It is a fine dining restaurant that was awarded a Michelin star for each year in the period 2010 to present. Bridgestone Guides also lists the hotel as one of the ''100 Best Places To Eat''. Journalist Pol O Conghaile listed the hotel and restaurant on his ''The travel hot list 2010'' in the ''Irish Independent''. The original Cliff House Hotel was established around 1932. In 2008, it was almost completely rebuilt. The restaurant was created during this rebuilding. The first head chef of ''The House'' to earn a Michelin star was another Dutchman, Martijn Kajuiter. Kajuiter left the role in 2020. Chef Ian Doyle successfully maintained the Michelin star status of House for 2021 & 2022. Doyle left in 2022 and was succeeded by Tony Parkin. Heron And Grey
Heron and Grey was a restaurant in Blackrock, County Dublin, Ireland. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star for 2017, 2018 and 2019. The head chef was Damien Grey while Andrew Heron ran the restaurant. They owned the restaurant together. In January 2019 the restaurant closed down. Thomastown (), historically known as Grennan, is a town in County Kilkenny in the province of Leinster in the south-east of Ireland. It is a market town along a stretch of the River Nore which is known for its salmon and trout, with a number of historical landmarks in the vicinity. It is a fine dining restaurant that was awarded a Michelin star in 2016 and retained that until 2020, when it received its second star. Head chef of ''The Greenhouse'' is the Finn Mikael Viljanen. Owner of The Greenhouse is Dublin restaurateur Eamonn O'Reilly. "Connoisseurs" deemed the restaurant worthy of a Michelin star a few years earlier but to their annoyance, the restaurant did not get the award in either 2013 or 2014. The restaurant got its second star in 2020, one of only four Irish restaurants to ever receive that honour.
