This article lists the albums attributed to the series Macross Frontier. The entire scores of the series were composed by Yoko Kanno. Two Japanese pop singers, May'n and Megumi Nakajima under stagenames ''Sheryl Nome starring May'n'' and ''Ranka Lee = Megumi Nakajima'', have lent their voices to the songs of two fictional songtresses Sheryl Nome and Ranka Lee. Singer and voice actress Maaya Sakamoto also make an appearance as Ranshe Mei, Ranka's mother. Macross Frontier
is a Japanese anime television series and the third Japanese anime television series set in the ''Macross'' universe. It was broadcast on MBS from April 4, 2008 to September 26, 2008. ''Macross Frontier'' is the story of a human space colony fleet trying to find a habitable planet near the center of the Milky Way. The story focuses on three young adults (a famed pop singer, a private military pilot, and a rising pop singer) and the events that occur around them as the fleet faces a crisis of alien origin. Plot The series features the 25th New Macross-class Colonial Fleet, dubbed the ''Macross Frontier'', en route to the galactic center. This heavily populated interstellar fleet (consisting of numerous civilian vessels and their military escorts) contains a makeup of both human occupants and their Zentradi allies. Kenta Miyake
is a Japanese voice actor and narrator who is affiliated with 81 Produce. Career Miyake was born in Okinawa Prefecture. As a teenager, he dreamed of becoming a voice actor in hopes of meeting an actress that he admired and wanted to co-star with. After graduating from the Amusement Media Research Institute, he joined the talent agency 81 Produce. He has continued roles after the deaths of Masashi Amenomori, Shigezō Sasaoka, Hirotaka Suzuoki, Daisuke Gōri, Nobuyuki Furuta and Unshō Ishizuka and Yuu Shimaka and Kiyoyuki Yanada. In addition, Miyake also played Elephantus in ''Yatterman Night'' as a tribute to the veteran Kazuya Tatekabe. In 2019, Miyake won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role award at the 13th Seiyu Awards. Takashi Matsumoto (lyricist)
is a Japanese lyricist and former musician. After several years playing the drums in the rock bands Apryl Fool and Happy End during the late 1960s and early 1970s, Matsumoto decided to focus on writing lyrics for others in 1974. As of 2015, he had written over 2,100 songs, 130 of which entered the top 10 on the Oricon chart. Total sales of the singles he has written exceed 49.8 million copies, making him the third best-selling lyricist in Japan. In 2017, he was awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon from the Japanese government for his work in music.
