Nickelodeon (often shortened to Nick) is an American pay television television channel, channel which launched on April 1, 1979, as the first cable channel for children. It is run by Paramount Global through its List of assets owned by Paramount Global#Kids & Family Entertainment, networks division's Kids and Family Group. Its programming is primarily aimed at children aged 2–17, along with a broader family audience through its block programming, program blocks. The channel began life as a test broadcast on December 1, 1977 as part of QUBE, an early cable television system broadcast locally in Columbus, Ohio. ''Angela Anaconda'' is an animated children's television series created by Joanna Ferrone and Sue Rose. The show ran for three seasons, from 1999 to 2001, for a total of 65 episodes. Premise The show focuses on the adventures of an eight-year-old girl named Angela in the fictional town of Tapwater Springs. Other characters include Angela's three best friends and several antagonists, primarily Nanette Manoir. Mike Mitchell (born October 18, 1970) is an American film director, writer, producer, actor and animator. He directed the films '' Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo'', ''Surviving Christmas'', '' Sky High'', ''Shrek Forever After'', '' Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked'', ''Trolls'' and '' The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part''. JetCat is a young female superhero who "flies like a jet, and fights like a cat", created by Jay Stephens (of ''Tutenstein'' and ''The Secret Saturdays'' fame), who first appeared in the weekly comic strip "Oddville!" beginning in 1994. The character resurfaced as the star of the 1997 Dark Horse Comics mini-series, "The Land Of Nod", which was later collected as the multiple Eisner-Award nominated ''The Land Of Nod Rockabye Book''. Jetcat next appeared in four animated shorts that aired in the final two seasons of Nickelodeon's ''KaBlam!''., which was nominated for an Annie Award.
