''Whom God Forgives'' ( es, Amanecer en Puerta Oscura) is a 1957 Spanish action film directed by José María Forqué. At the 7th Berlin International Film Festival it won the Silver Bear Extraordinary Prize of the Jury award. Plot Set in Andalusia in the 19th century, it reflects the persecution of some people with blood crimes that they have committed due to forced circumstances. Juan Cuenca, a miner, who has killed the foreman of the mine and his friend, an engineer who, for defending him, has killed the head of the mine. All of them live as refugees in the Andalusian mountains, persecuted by the Civil Guard, and intend to embark for America. The film reflects the tradition of freeing a prisoner during Holy Week in Malaga because of the image of Jesús el Rico. Elías Nicolás Rodríguez Zavaleta (born 22 July 1974) is a Peruvian lawyer and politician who served in Congress representing La Libertad region from 2006 until the dissolution of Congress by president Martín Vizcarra in 2019. A former member of the Peruvian Aprista Party, Rodríguez was expelled from the party in October 2021 for alleged treason as he served as Institutional General Secretary and simultaneously led an independent regional movement. At the 2022 regional elections, Rodríguez ran for governor of La Libertad Region under the ''Trabajo Más Trabajo'' regional movement, placing second and losing to César Acuña from Alliance for Progress. Sergio Corbucci
Sergio Corbucci (; 6 December 1926 – 1 December 1990) was an Italian film director, screenwriter and producer. He directed both very violent Spaghetti Westerns and bloodless Bud Spencer and Terence Hill action comedies. He is the older brother of screenwriter and film director Bruno Corbucci. Biography Early career Corbucci was born in Rome. He started his career by directing mostly low-budget sword and sandal movies.
