The High Commissioner of the United Kingdom to Jamaica is the United Kingdom's foremost diplomatic representative in Jamaica, and head of the UK's diplomatic mission in Jamaica. As fellow members of the Commonwealth of Nations, diplomatic relations between the United Kingdom and Jamaica are at governmental level, rather than between Heads of State. Asif Ahmad ( bn, আসিফ আনোয়ার আহমেদ; born 21 January 1956) is a banker-turned-diplomat, having served as a Senior Civil Servant at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. David John Fitton (born 10 January 1955) is a former British diplomat who served as High Commissioner to Jamaica from 2013 to 2017. Fitton studied at Durham University.
