List Of Hazara Tribes
The Hazara people are an ethnic group who inhabit and originate from Hazarajat (Hazaristan) region, located in central parts of Afghanistan and generally scattered throughout Afghanistan. However, there are significant populations of Hazaras in Pakistan and Iran, notably in Quetta, Pakistan and in Mashhad, Iran. Furthermore, many Afghan refugees are fleeing the conflict in Afghanistan who have in recent years settled in Iran and further bolstered the Hazara community in Pakistan. Hazara People
The Hazaras ( fa, , Həzārə; haz, , Āzərə) are an ethnic group and the principal component of the population of Afghanistan, native to, and primarily residing in the Hazaristan (Hazarajat) region in central Afghanistan and generally scattered throughout Afghanistan. They are one of the largest ethnic groups in Afghanistan, and are also significant minority groups in neighboring Pakistan, mostly in Quetta, and as well as in Iran. They speak the Hazaragi dialect of Persian, which is mutually intelligible with Dari, one of the two official languages of Afghanistan. Hazaras are considered to be one of the most persecuted groups in Afghanistan, and their persecution has occurred various times across previous decades. Torkman Valley or (Dare''-ye'' Torkman, prs, دره ترکمن; haz, دره تورکمو) is a valley in Afghanistan located in Surkhi Parsa District, Parwan Province in Hazarajat region, which is inhabited by the Hazara people. Attarwala
The Attarwala are a Muslim community found mostly in the state of Gujarat in India. History and origin The Attarwala claim to be descended from a group of Mughal Hazara soldiers who were initially settled in Agra, during the rule of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir. According to their recorded documents, they then migrated to Ahmedabad via Gwalior, Ratlam and Godhra. This migration followed their participation in the community in the 1857 Indian War Independence. Once settled in Gujarat, India, the community took up the occupation of manufacturing perfumes known as ittars. The word attarwala means the manufacturer of perfumes. A second migration took place in 1947 from Agra, after the partition of India, with some members immigrating to Pakistan, while others joining their co-ethnics in Ahmedabad. Aimaq Hazara
The Aimaq Hazara (Hazara-e qala-e naw); ( prs, ایماق هزاره, Aimāq Hazāra) are the Aimaq's subtribe of Hazara origin, however, they are Sunni Muslims while most other Hazaras are Shia Muslims. The Aimaq Hazara consists of 38 subtribes. The Aimaq Hazara and Timuri are the most Mongoloid of the Aimaqs. Some of the Aimaq Hazara and Timuri are semi-nomadic and live in yurts covered with felt. Hazaragi Dialect
Hazaragi ( fa, , Həzārəgī; haz, , links=no, Āzərəgī) is an eastern dialect of Persian that is spoken by the Hazara people, primarily in the Hazarajat region of central Afghanistan, as well as other Hazara-populated areas of Afghanistan. It is also spoken by the Hazaras of Pakistan and Iran and also by the Hazara diaspora living elsewhere in the world. Classification Hazaragi is a member of the Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is an eastern variety of Persian closely related to the Dari language of Afghanistan. Karluks
The Karluks (also Qarluqs, Qarluks, Karluqs, otk, 𐰴𐰺𐰞𐰸, Qarluq, Para-Mongol: Harluut, zh, s=葛逻禄, t=葛邏祿 ''Géluólù'' ; customary phonetic: ''Gelu, Khololo, Khorlo'', fa, خَلُّخ, ''Khallokh'', ar, قارلوق ''Qarluq'') were a prominent nomadic Turkic tribal confederacy residing in the regions of Kara-Irtysh (Black Irtysh) and the Tarbagatai Mountains west of the Altay Mountains in Central Asia. Karluks gave their name to the distinct Karluk group of the Turkic languages, which also includes the Uyghur, Uzbek and Ili Turki languages. Daizinyat (Hazara Tribe)
Daizinyat also spelled as Dai Zinyat ( prs, دای زینات) is a Hazara tribes, tribe of Hazaras in Afghanistan, who live mainly in the Badghis Province, Badghis region, Qala e Naw, located the east of ''Darya'e Kas'' (Kas river). It is a famous fort and place that this tribe lived in and one of the populated areas of Badghis. They were established by Nadir Shah Afshar and belong to the Daizangi (Hazara tribe), Daizangi tribe of Hazaras, most probably from the Ghor region. One of their elders, Sardar Hussain Khan, was appointed the governor of Herat by Nasir Shah. They live in and around the ''Dara'e Ab Kaka'', ''Ab Mohra'' and surrounding Qala'e Naw, and are also called Hazara-i-Qala e Nau. The Dai Chopan ( prs, دایچوپان) are a tribe of Hazara people, who live in Afghanistan. They are generally numbered among the eight overarching Hazara tribes. the district with the same name Dai Chopan in Zabul Province is derived from this tribe. Dai Chopan are the descendants of Amir Chopan, a Hazara chieftain and whose grave is at Grishk, Helmand Province.
