I Wayan Koster
I Wayan Koster (born 20 October 1962) is an Indonesian politician who is the 10th governor of Bali. Before becoming governor, he was a member of the People's Representative Council representing the province. A three-term parliamentarian representing his home province, Koster studied at Bandung Institute of Technology and Jakarta State University before becoming a lecturer and eventually joining PDI-P. Background Koster was born in the town of Singaraja on 20 October 1962. He completed his first twelve years of education there, graduating high school in 1981. Afterward, he moved to Bandung to study at the Bandung Institute of Technology, from where he graduated in 1987 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. The Royal Netherlands East Indies Army ( nl, Koninklijk Nederlands Indisch Leger; KNIL, ) was the military force maintained by the Kingdom of the Netherlands in its colony of the Dutch East Indies, in areas that are now part of Indonesia. Anak Agung Bagus Suteja
Anak Agung Bagus Sutedja (1923 – 29 July 1966?) was the first governor of Bali, appointed by President Sukarno in 1958, when Bali became a province. He was the son of the last Raja of Jembrana, the late Anak Agung Bagus Negara. Anak Agung Bagus Sutedja was influenced by nationalist ideas from his school years. After August 1945 he was actively involved with the Republicans in the Indonesian Revolution that strove to expel the Dutch. The Dutch colonial authorities imprisoned him in 1948–49. After Indonesian independence he was appointed regional head (kepala daerah) of Bali by President Sukarno. As an administrator he was known as an incorruptible leftist idealist. Sarimin Reksodihardjo (17 July 1905 – 1992) was a Javanese bureaucrat and politician. Born in Wonosobo, Sarimin was employed to the ''Wedana'' (district head) of Ajibarang, Central Java after finishing his studies at the OSVIA (academy of governance). After the Indonesian independence, he was appointed as the Regent of Brebes, the head of Agrarian Affairs in the Ministry of Home Affairs, the acting Governor of North Sumatra, and as the Governor of Nusa Tenggara. The Indonesian National Party ( id, Partai Nasional Indonesia, PNI) was the name used by several nationalist political parties in Indonesia from 1927 until the 2000s.
