Augustine Abbey, also known as Idikoko, is a Ghanaian actor and movie maker known for comedy. His is also known for his main roles as a house boy or gate man. He has produced and starred in a BBC documentary and also directed and produced a film on HIV and AIDS in partnership with UNESCO and Esi Sutherland-Addy's MMOFRA Foundation. Michael Blackson
Michael Blackson is a Ghanaian-Liberian actor, philanthropist, and comedian based in the United States. Early life Michael Blackson was born to a Ghanaian parents. He spent his young years in between Monrovia and Ghana before relocating to the United States in the mid-1980s. His father died in 2008. Michael lived in Newark, New Jersey when he was 13, and then settled in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania when he was 15. He began pursuing comedy after his coworker at Domino's suggested he start open mic. David Dontoh
David Kwame Dontoh (born 1964) and affectionately called ''Uncle David'', ''"Ghanaman" and "Kofi Abranteɛ"'' (Kofi Gentleman), is a veteran Ghanaian actor and television personality who has starred in numerous local and international films, drama, theatre, and other stage productions. He has been very influential in the development of television and drama, especially during the golden age of theatre in Ghana in the 80s and 90s. He took up acting in 1980 after seeing a National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) newspaper advert inviting potential actors to come forward for training in stage and film acting. The title of his first NAFTI film was ''"The Way To Shame"'' a short seven minute stage production which was directed by Alex Bannerman as part of his formal assessment in drama production. David Oscar Dogbe (born 16 April 1984) is a Ghanaian musician, actor and comedian. He is known for leading the movement ''GHComedy'', that fought to gain visibility and acceptance for an upcoming Ghanaian Stand-up comedians. David Oscar later put his comedian career on hold to become a reggae musician. Kojo Dadson
Emmanuel Kojo Dadson (1953 – 9 February 2021) was a veteran Ghanaian actor, director, producer and musician. He is well known for featuring in and directing movies and series like Home Sweet Home, Sun City and Run Baby Run. He gained prominence for his humor and comedic style of acting. He suffered a stroke whilst acting in 2012. He died on the 9 February 2021, aged 68. Career Kojo Dadson was an actor who featured in a number of productions such as '' Love Brewed In An African Pot, Run Baby Run, Home Sweet Home', Sun City, Hotel St. James, Doctor Love, Location Africa,'' among others. Moesha Buduong is a Ghanaian TV presenter, actress and model who is also known for granting a controversial interview to CNN reporter Christiane Amanpour on issues of sex, love and gender. Controversy In April 2018, Buduong came under criticism from Ghanaians. over a controversial interview she gave to CNN reporter Christiane Amanpour.
