Julia Serda
Julia Serda (6 April 1875 – 3 December 1965) was an Austrian stage and film actress.Grange p.120 She was married to the actor Hans Junkermann. Biography Julia Serda was born on 6 April 1875 in Vienna. She became fascinated by the stage at an early age, taking singing lessons from Pauline Lucca and studying acting at the Vienna Conservatory. Serda made her debut in 1895 at the theater in Breslau, after which she went to Köningsberg for three years. In 1899 she followed a call to the Dresden Court Theater, to which she remained connected until 1908 and was awarded the title of "Royal Saxon Court Actress". During this time, she also made her Berlin debut in 1902, appeared at the Vienna Burgtheater in 1907, and in 1908 at the Meinhard-Bernauer-Bühnen. Werner Pittschau
Werner Pittschau (24 March 1902 – 28 October 1928) was a German theater and film actor of the silent film era. He was a leading men in 30 films during the 1920s, but his career was cut short by his death in an automobile accident, aged 26. Pittschau was the son of the German theater actor Ernst Pittschau (1859-1916) and the Viennese theatre and film Hilda Hofer-Pittschau née Schützenhofer (1873-1961), theater and movie actress. He began his career after training in 1919 as an actor at the Deutsches Landestheater in Prague. His older half-brother was actor Ernst Pittschau (1883-1951). On Sunday, 28 October 1928, Werner Pittschau and his girlfriend, dancer Wilma Harmening, were driving from Berlin to Mecklenburg when Pittschau lost control of the vehicle and collided into a tree near the village of Gerdshagen. Ida Wüst (; 10 October 1884 – 4 October 1958) was a German stage and film actress whose career was prominent in the 1920s and 1930s with Universum Film AG (UFA). Life and career Little is known about Ida Wüst's early childhood. She discovered early the world of theater, and decided to make it her career. After attending secondary school in Frankfurt am Main, Wüst took acting lessons from Thessa Klinghammer and at the age of 16 received her first engagement at the StadtTheatre of Colmar, and further stage productions in Bromberg, and in 1904 performed extensively in Leipzig. Carl Wilhelm (born 1872 in Vienna; died in London 1936), was a prolific German film director, film producer and screenwriter of the silent film era, at the end of which his career apparently entirely faded away and he vanished into obscurity. Life After his first work, the short documentary film ''Ein vergnügter Wintertag im Berliner Grunewald'', made for the producer Oskar Messter in 1909, Wilhelm worked for many other Berlin production companies. For example, in the years before World War I, he filmed for ''Deutsche Mutoskop- und Biograph GmbH'' in Lankwitz and ''BB-Film-Fabrikation Bolten-Baeckers'' in Steglitz a series of comedies starring the silent film star Leo Peukert.
