Nana Ekvtimishvili ( ka, ნანა ექვთიმიშვილი; born 9. July 1978 in Tbilisi, Georgia) is a Georgian writer and director. Biography Nana Ekvtimishvili studied philosophy at the Ivane Javakhishvili State University of Tbilisi. She studied screenwriting and dramaturgy at the Academy of Film and Television (HFF) in Potsdam-Babelsberg. Her stories were first published in 1999 in the Georgian literary magazine ''Arili'' in Georgia. After writing prose and screenplays, in 2011 she directed the short film ''Deda / Waiting for Mum''. In 2012, with Simon Groß, she completed her first feature film, ''Grdzeli Nateli Dgeebi'' ( ka, გრძელი ნათელი დღეები, international title: ''In Bloom''). It was screened in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition section of the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and had its world premiere in the Forum section at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival. Rusudan Glurjidze (born 21 July 1972, Tbilisi) is a Georgian film director, screenwriter, and producer. Biography Rusudan Glurjidze was born on 21 July 1972, in Tbilisi, Georgia. She graduated in French Language and Literature from the Tbilisi State University and from 1990 to 1996 studied Film Directing and Screenwriting at Giorgi Shengelaia’s class at the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University. After 1996, Glurjidze worked in advertising and at the Georgian Public Broadcaster, making musical and commercial clips.
