''The Accusation'' (french: Les Choses humaines, lit=Human Things) is a 2021 French courtroom drama film directed by Yvan Attal. The screenplay, written by Attal and Yaël Langmann, is an adaptation of Karine Tuil's 2019 novel of the same name. It had its world premiere on 9 September 2021 at the 78th Venice International Film Festival, and was released in France by Gaumont Film Company on 1 December 2021. Plot Alexandre Farel is the son of the prominent television presenter Jean Farel. Claire, his mother, left Jean and lives with Adam Wizman, who is also separated from his Orthodox Jewish wife with whom he has a daughter, Mila. When Alexandre returns from finishing his studies in the United States, he accompanies his mother for an evening and meets Mila. Together they go to a party for former students of the Lycée Henri-IV. Memory Banda (born September 24, 1996) is a Malawian children's rights activist who has drawn international attention for her work in opposition to child marriage. Early life Banda was born in Mzimba District and grew up in Chiradzulu District. Her father died when she was four years old, and she was raised by her mother. Despite growing in a singled-headed family, Memory defied the odds of early marriage in her community. Her sister Mercy was forced to marry at the age of 11 after she became pregnant during an initiation ceremony. At a young age, Memory aspired to be different from everybody and everything. She acknowledges that she was a tough girl. She had a voice, even though her culture reminded her to be quiet and silent because she was a girl child. Xiuhtezcatl Roske-Martinez ( ; born May 9, 2000), also known by the initial X, is an American environmental activist and hip hop artist. Martinez was formerly the Youth Director of Earth Guardians until 2019. Martinez has spoken about the effects of fossil fuels on indigenous and other marginalized communities. Melati Riyanto Wijsen (born 2000) and Isabel Wijsen (born 6 November 2002) are Indonesian climate activists. The two sisters are known for their efforts to reduce plastic consumption in Bali. The sisters were born in Bali to Dutch and Indonesian parents. In 2013, when Melati was 12 and Isabel was 10 years old, inspired by a lesson about positive world leaders at the Green School Bali, they brainstormed ideas on how to aid Indonesia's problem with plastic pollution, since it is the second worst plastic polluter in the world after China. When the sisters found out that less than 5% of the plastic bags in Bali were being recycled, They decided to begin their campaign ''Bye Bye Plastic Bags'' with the help of other children in the island.
