Poltergeist is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas. Designed by Werner Stengel and manufactured by Premier Rides, the roller coaster opened to the public on May 28, 1999. Its track was fabricated by Dynamic Structures and Intermountain Lift, Inc. History On October 8, 1998, Six Flags Fiesta Texas announced a $30 million expansion on new rides. There would be three major rides set to open that year, which were Poltergeist, Boomerang and Scream. Poltergeist would be built by Premier Rides and be an LIM launch coaster. The ride would replace Seaside Golf, a miniature golf course that opened with the park in 1992. Poltergeist officially opened on May 28, 1999. Pandemonium is a steel spinning roller coaster designed by Gerstlauer, located at several Six Flags amusement parks in the United States. Since 2005, Six Flags has installed Pandemonium in five of its parks. Its design consists of several cars holding four riders each. While the cars traverse the track, they spin around according to the angle of the track and the shifts in the riders' weight. Bugs' White Water Rapids is a flume ride located in the ''Spassburg'' section at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas, since 1998. General information Bugs' White Water Rapids has two lift hills and two drops. The ride is the longest operating water ride in the park each season, operating from opening day through Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park. During Holiday in the Park, the ride is closed, as the queue building is transformed into "Santa's Castle" until Christmas. It then opens back up until the end of the season.
